2026 GMC Acadia Denali Ultimate AWD

I purchased a very nice 2018 used Silverado with an altered lift kit and custom exhaust at about 88,000 miles with an extended warranty. Great price too! About two months after purchase I had pay $2,400 to repair control arms and ball joints, which I totally understand, because the warranty clearly states that does not cover altered parts. A couple of months later, the transmission had problems and started coding like crazy. I was hopping mad at that point ready to kick doors down and smash some skulls at the dealership. The service manager, Jacob quickly admitted fault about the first repair with possibly reimbursing the ball joints, because it’s possibly not a part of the altered part and made sure the transmission was covered under warranty. Jacob is a super nice guy and please don’t do what I did and be nice to him. ? They are people just like us, and like us, they do make mistakes, but THEY WILL make it right. Just treat them with respect and kindness and they will have your back and help you in any way they can. They treated me just right and fixed mistakes. Totally impressed with the mechanic! He was very knowledgeable at his job. We was previously told we needed a new transmission and he drove it and said he could fix it with a simple flush, ultimately saving us thousands of dollars. Highly recommend this dealership!
