Catherine was amazing from the beginning making sure we had everything to make us comfortable and getting right to work on find our car. Drove over from Panama City Beach Florida and needed to turn around and drive back the same day. But my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee decided to act up for the first time since I bought it used about 2 years ago. Thank God we were not far from the Jeep dealership in Lake City. I knew going in on Friday afternoon things would be iffy, but I was going in on just the prayer that they would be able to see me at some point. Thank God the person I went to in the service department was Blaine. I'm going to say at the outset that I did not know it at the time, but He put an angel right in front of me. Blaine was being pulled in 15 different directions, and all I could do was hope it was something simple with the Jeep because it was obvious they were slammed. From the moment I began talking with Blaine, I knew that she was going to make sure everything was going to be okay. And she definitely did. Blaine made sure that we were not only seen, but took care of us every step of the way from the initial diagnosis of the problem throughout the repair process. She was able to fit us in, get us a great tech, offered us the complimentary shuttle ride to grab a bite to eat since we were starving, and when we returned, found that the repairs needed were going to take all, if not more, than a day, which meant that if it wasn't ready by Saturday, it might not be ready until the following Monday. Dave, the tech, walked me through everything that needed to be done: all new spark plugs and gaskets, a water pump, an upper induction cleaning, and two new engine mounts all things that would extend the life of my Jeep, the nicest vehicle I've ever owned. He made me feel comfortable knowing that I could trust in his recommendations. Blaine came to the rescue again and worked with us, helping to find us a place to stay, recommending places to eat, and ensuring us that they would do everything they could to have things ready by Saturday at closing. Because of the timing, taking a chance on a rental car was not option since it would have had to be returned Saturday by noon, although the dealership has a great partnership with Hertz should you need it. We took advantage of the shuttle system again to get to a local hotel and to return around the middle of the day on Saturday. Blaine was right there to meet us, told us that Dave was working, and that fingers were crossed. We took the shuttle to have lunch. We returned to the dealership and were told that the Jeep was almost ready and to make ourselves comfortable in the lounge. I don't think we were there an hour before Blaine came in saying that everything was complete, under the estimated price, and that we were ready to get back on the road. Mind you, all throughout this time, not only did Blaine treat us professionally as customers, she took a personal interest since she knew that we were in a bind. When she had a second, she always took time to check in on us, which turned into talking, and we got to know each other. I know this is a long review, but anyone who's been in a situation where they've broken down hundreds of miles from home, not knowing anything about where they are, and facing an unexpected charge, knows the feeling of helplessness and frustration that comes along with such a situation. I can honestly say that at no point did I feel either of those since from the very first minute Blaine to made us feel comfortable and like newfound friends. My many thanks to Blaine and Dave. And also to all the incredibly friendly shuttle drivers. I hope the dealership sees this and knows that they are blessed to have Blaine and such a wonderful crew! My Jeep is now running better than ever, and I'm even getting better gas mileage! I very highly recommend going to this dealership. Every single person there was amazing. I did then and still do thank God that he put his angel behind that service desk!
