Our buying experience at the dealership started rocky, but finished strong. (Summary in last two paragraphs.) After finding the 2024 Grand Cherokee we wanted online, we worked with our salesperson, Aaron, to provide all of the paperwork needed to hold it until we could make the trip to the dealership to finalize the purchase. The very next day we were notified the vehicle was no longer available. I know that some car dealerships would rather sell a used vehicle, and they’d much rather the customer finance it rather than pay cash. We felt like that might have been a factor in the vehicle suddenly being unavailable to us. However, after strongly expressing our concerns, Aaron assured us he would straighten the issue out, which he did. Because we were making a 2.5 hour drive to the dealership from our home, we asked them to please have everything prepared in advance to make the transaction move as quickly as possible once we were there. Maybe that sounds demanding, but we were already going to spend 5 hours driving, we didn’t want to add another 3 waiting for paperwork to be drawn up. Plus, when you’re spending that much money, I don’t think it’s too much to ask for a quick and smooth transaction. Aaron was very warm and friendly when we arrived at the dealership. After giving our new Jeep a good once-over, he reviewed all of the payment information their finance department had emailed us the night before. After a short wait, we finalized the transaction with finance and received our keys. There was a minor hassle over how we would provide our cash payment. I totally understand the dealership’s need to protect themselves from fraud, I just think they could have conveyed the exact same information with more courteous wording - especially since the interaction with finance leaves the final impression of the dealership with the customer. Nando came out to the Jeep with us to go over all of the tech, and answer any questions we might have about operating it - he was super polite and helpful. I appreciated that he was willing to spend as little or as much time as we needed to learn about all the features on our new Jeep. They had told us someone would take the plates off of my trade-in Jeep and put them on my new one, but my husband ended having to do that himself. I’m sure if we had reminded them, they would have done it, but it was probably quicker to just do it ourselves. From the time we pulled into the dealership until the time we pulled out in our new car was just over 1.5 hours. Considering we weren’t their only customers that day, I feel like it was a reasonable amount of time, so no complaints there. In the end, we felt like Aaron made every effort to make sure our interests and needs were met. Our face-to-face interactions were very positive, finance being the only exception, and even that was fine once we addressed the communication issue. Overall, Jeff Belzer’s Roseville dealership, like any manufacturer dealership, is an easy place to do business, as long as you’ve done your homework and thoroughly understand the process. If you have a bad experience, it may be because you didn’t understand the process.

Jason was a great help with purchasing my new Jeep Compass. He was friendly and knowledgeable during the process. He didn’t pressure me and made sure I was getting a vehicle I loved. I highly recommend him and will definitely be back!

Customer service was second to none. Every person we worked with through the lease process was friendly, allowed for questions, and had the answers. Our Sales guy Nick Feist assisted every step of the way from our initial search for just the right Jeep and kept in contact through to the end. Wouldn’t go anywhere else but Jeff Belzers!!
