I reached out to 5 large GMC dealerships in Kansas City as well as 5 large Chevrolet dealerships in Kansas Ciy looking specifically for a new Silverado or a new Sierra to take advantage of the aggressive financing options being offered by GM. Laurynn at McCarthy was responsive, up front, and transparent on what they could do on coupling dealer pricing with the 0% financing option, and when the truck we were dealing on sold right before I decided to make a deal, she found me a different truck, almost identical to the one we had been dealing on. That’s not surprising, however, the 2nd truck was missing 2 key features that the original truck had. Laurynn and McCarthy added these 2 features to the 2nd truck at their cost and honored the pricing that we’d agreed to on the 1st truck. Parts and labor would have been almost $2,000 for these parts and install. They also offered me almost $4,000 more for my trade-in than the other 2 dealerships I was having discussions with. Laurynn was available when I needed her but not intrusive with her messaging like the others, and she has followed up with me after the purchase to ensure my happiness. I was very worried when I went in to talk about trading my truck. My husband bought my truck for me before he passed away. Its been an amazing truck but recently it had started having problems. So after paying about it, I decided to trade it. I don't have very good credit so that worried me too, but when I got there, I was introduced to Walter. I went down there to buy a new car after my car was totaled in a hail storm. I worked with Kyle for sales and Jeff for finance. The car I picked was located at another dealership. They worked on it and made the trade. Early Monday morning we got a call, our car had been sold to someone else. I will tell you, I was furious.
