Told the sales man exactly what we wanted and we got it, we had rough experience with the Modesto Honda but drove an hour plus from Patterson and it was definitely worth it. Fast and simple, by far one of easiest transactions I’ve been through. The pilot fit our needs perfect for our two girls and with our growing family.

Summary: My experience with El Cerrito Honda was very good. Sales was honest and true to their word. Specifically, Assad Arshad. Finance was a bit unnerving but went OK. Review I traveled an hour from San Jose is pouring rain to buy a new CRV from El Cerrito Honda. I shopped locally and only found one CRV I liked but I did not feel the dealer was particularly honest forthright. The local dealer, kept changing the deal but never changing the final price. They were also demeaning accessories I did not want or need. I worked with Assad over email and text. Provided information on my trade-in as well as negotiated a fair price for the new CRV. I took a big risk to drive an hour from San Jose to El Cerrito Honda to meet Assad and trusted he would stay good to his word on the deal we decided on. Everything was just as we discussed and while there was a small attempt to add some accessories but that was it. No hard sale or push. Everything went well although it was a bit slow process overall. Finance was a little unnerving. The rep was not friendly but not unfriendly. Rather intimidating front. Again, no hard sale or push. Took forever to get to finance but we went through the 1/2 thing stack of paperwork pretty quickly. Overall, it took 3 hours. I could have been 90 minutes. Overall, I highly suggest working with Assad and El Cerrito Honda. As with any car purchase, research your new car prices, understand the process, protect yourself from unnecessary costs and know your trade-in value. You will probably still come to El Cerrito Honda but you will do so knowing you are working with an honest dealer.

I am truly impressed with their customer service Elena in sales and Freddie in service have been just great. I this is not my local service center or dealer but I drive there because all of the staff including management are just polite and professional. We replace our cars every 2 years I have dealt with many dealerships but Honda el Cerrito by far has the most polite and courteous staff.
