Alison was wonderful to deal with! She was very professional, knowledgeable about all my car questions, and very easy to deal with. I would highly recommend her if you are looking to buy a Honda. All the staff at IRA Honda was great including Matt who assisted with my final paperwork. Thanks for making my car buying experience so great!!
I write this review to commend both Ira Honda Saco of Maine (Ryan Cammarata) and Honda North in Massachusetts (specifically Sean in the service department) for their truly above-and-beyond problem-solving skills. We’re often urged to seek repairs elsewhere—dealership fees can be exorbitant and hard to stomach in one sitting. But when crisis strikes unexpectedly, the safest place to be is in the hands of your dealership. Around Christmas, I was driving to work when my car suddenly began to buck and shudder so violently I nearly crushed my nose on the steering wheel. As a Bay Flight veteran, this shook me to my core. I immediately brought my car to Ira Honda Saco, where they quickly diagnosed the issue—at a cool $2,600—and returned my vehicle. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the end of it. After the head gasket repair, one of the finicky filters kept collecting debris behind the screen, resulting in two more… spirited exchanges with Ira. Still, my troubles weren’t over. My darling Clementine (CR-V, very moody) decided to buck again—this time on the interstate—nearly giving me a Final Destination semi moment. And this, my friends, is where dealership repairs truly prove their worth. I broke down an hour and a half from Maine, two hours from my intended destination, and just twenty minutes from Ira Honda North. After calling both dealerships and hopping on a three-way call, Sean and Ryan calmly devised a plan to rescue a stranded single mother who was completely out of her depth. These two men—and the businesses they represent—sent a tow truck, took in my wayward car, repaired it (despite Massachusetts never having worked on it before), and even provided me with a loaner so I could continue life as usual. And the best part? Because of my recent hefty repair bill, Ira Honda Saco—through the extraordinary kindness of Ryan Cammarata—covered the entirety of what would have been another $3,000 repair. Fully. No questions. No strings. In a world overflowing with cruelty and short on empathy, this level of mercy and grace moved me beyond words. A dealership working with you—rather than against you—is nearly unheard of today. I also want to acknowledge how helpful their car credit options were throughout this process. Having flexible, humane financing available made an overwhelming situation manageable, and allowed me to make decisions rooted in safety rather than panic. To Ryan, Sean, and both Ira Honda locations: thank you for your professionalism, your compassion, and your integrity. You didn’t just fix a car—you restored my faith that kindness still exists in business, and that people still show up for one another when it matters most.
Second car I got from this location. Allison Irish was outstanding and worked with me. Answered all my questions and walked me through everything thoroughly. The whole crew was very friendly and respectful. Highly recommend if your looking for a new/used vehicle.. ?????????? all day.
