Owner Steve Karrip is a fine man, my own family has bought a dozen cars from him over the years.

We've shopped at Metro for years. Owner, Steve, is a great guy. Saw him today. Unfortunately, he doesn't have what we are looking for right now. Wouldn't hesitate to buy from Metro.

Steve is a breath of fresh air in the nightmare that is car sales!! I went to Metro Motors to look at a Jaguar XJS that he had posted online. I told Steve that I was looking for a classic car project that I could tinker with on the weekends so I wasn't too concerned if the car had faults that needed to be addressed. Unfortunately the Jaguar that I went to see was not for me. Even when I called him about the car he was completely honest with me and told me everything about the car good or bad. Steve had another Jaguar but it was way out of my price range but it had a couple of issues with it and he was willing to negotiate on the price. (These Jaguar XJS V12s are very complex cars, have a few known vices and due to their age can be very finicky). I used to work for Jaguar in the UK back in the day so I know these cars very well. Well I sat down with Steve and he was completely open and honest with me! He told me what the issues with the car were and everything they did to try and fix the problem, he held nothing back. Well we agreed on a price and he even held the car for me for two weeks while I secured the extra funds that I needed. He was always helpful and always honest with me. He showed me the full Carfax history to verify the low mileage, all and any previous accidents or damage that the car had in it's whole life. He asked me if I understood that he was selling a car with a known issue and that I was buying the car as is and I agreed as that was what I was looking for. THIS IS WHAT A CAR SALESMAN SHOULD BE LIKE! After I drove the car home I fully inspected the car and YES Steve was completely accurate with his description of the car and there were no other surprises in store! I am really happy with my car and how I was treated by Metro Motors! If I ever need another vehicle he WILL be the first person I call.
