My son purchased his first car from Alsteen a little over 30 days ago. We noticed last week it was starting to leak a lot of oil. It was just past their 30 day warranty and figured we might be out of luck. We contacted them and without hesitation he asked when we could have them look at it. When we arrived I mentioned it was just past the 30 days and quickly responded we will take care of it. Come to find out the head gasket they replaced before they sold it was faulty and agreed to repair it at no charge to us. We also noticed the thermostat was bad and replaced it as well and filled the tank with gas! This was the right way to handle this situation and we're very grateful for Alsteen having integrity and standing by what they sell!
Had issues with the vehicle which required a flat bed return for repairs. One hour trip from my hone.problem continues altho not as bad. I'll be taking it to my own mechanic. I feel their service dept is not up to par,but the 30 day warranty paid for the radiator replacement I'll have to eat the additional repairs. I'm not real happy about that.
