2014 Dodge Durango R/T AWD

Getting a new car is commonly known to be a stressful experience & I certainly was feeling that, in addition to personal limitations financially with the clock ticking before my lease was up. After having a car I was about to sign on fall through unexpectedly at the last minute, I was about to give up hope, yet not having a vehicle wasn’t an option… Late one night, I saw a car I sent a message about online, then the next day Gary from Exem called to save the day. He was polite from the get go & willing to work with me (while not being pushy) he was to the point (and now that I bought a car, can confirm he was being honest.) Day of the appointment, which was the same day he called me after gettitng my credit approved. I accidentally went to the wrong place, sat in the wrong place for close to an hour and Gary called me and I realized I was in wrong spot. (As I said, I was stressed, honest mistake though.) Despite it being after closing time, and it being my fault I was an hour late, he still was pleasant and happy to wait for me, which had actually been the first positive experience I’ve had via car shopping during this very long month. We looked at literally every car I asked for, and yes this was including the one I initially asked for, and for fun “the cute car I saw when I pulled in” (and inevitably bought!) Also including every other car in between that I was curious about. When I say look at every car, I mean I watched him type in numbers in front of me, and we actually had a good time seeing what they told us. This wasn’t the “I need to run these numbers to my manager, be back in” (who knows when)…no no, he is the Manager and I’m watching him type in numbers, to work within my limited budget. Worth mentioning, he was happy to go outside to look at any car I wanted as well, it was just freezing & snowy so I didn’t want to be outside if we didn’t need to be. As far as the cars I did see once outside, including the one I bought, I can confirm the pictures online are accurate. I finally made a decision, signed the dotted line and felt a sigh of relief like no other. I made an appointment for the following week, he was in touch to follow up / remind me to swap insurance and send over. Where I was feeling like giving up after the last car fell through, I felt secure this car was going to happen & I was right. Thank god because I dropped my lease off before I picked up my new car from Gary at Exem. Overall everything was exactly as I saw it, pictures, communication etc all was truthful, easy and a great experience, after several brutal ones. I would highly recommend and will likely be buying my next car through Gary. Trust me, I’ve done the research this entire month for you, you’re welcome… go Exem United first????
