Commission Plan = 1/5 stars - I was told that I must leave a review in order for our salesman, Tony, to get paid his commission!!! Personally, this seems very unjust and forces the buyer to leave a review. This is a very pushy sales tactic and I am not enthused by the messages to “leave a review or I won’t get paid this week” when I haven’t yet received the title for the car I purchased last week. For this reason, I have knocked off one star, but this is no fault of Tony’s. I hope that the management team will compensate him and find a better way to implement their commission payout system. Tony = 4.5/5 stars - Tony sold us the car. He was very accommodating for my questions and sent lots of photos of the vehicle ahead of time. The one downfall is that we asked him to fill the tires with air before we drove off the lot after purchasing because it was making a strange humming sound that occurred with the wheel oscillations. When he came back, we asked him if the sound had gone and he replied yes, which was not true. They also only filled the gas half way when they went to fill it, although I’m not sure if that’s the case with other automotive dealers as well. Ronnie = 4.5/5 stars - Ronnie is the finance person. Ronnie was reasonable and knocked off a few bucks after we had the mechanic look the truck over and prove that it barely passed inspection regarding the brakes and calipers as well as needing new front tires. The reason for -1 star is that Ronnie had no idea how the warranty worked. We had a lot of questions but he couldn’t really tell us much about it. We opted to go with a third party. He was also an hour late after opening. Not sure if that’s common for the financial team but it did set us back in terms of the mechanical inspection appointment we set up. It was fine, but I called Tony again this week for another thing and Ronnie was not in again, so it seems that he doesn’t have the same hours as the sales team and it would be helpful to note that for buyers who are traveling a good distance for a car. Buying a car can be stressful and overwhelming, but we love the truck and appreciate Tony going out of his way to share details on the vehicle with us.
