Let me tell you, Mr. Messick, David I believe, was the most caring and professional auto sales dealership owner I've ever come across (and I've bought plenty of cars and trucks in my day from dealerships all over in many states)! I was not asked to write this, but I felt compelled to do so and acknowledge this business and business owner. More recently, my daughter was in town from Massachusetts and when she stopped in Salisbury to get gas at Wawa beside this dealership she locked her keys in the car! She was panicking and stressed out and I was at home in Virginia at work, about an hour away. I called Messicks and explained the situation and he said not to worry. He assured me he would help out if he could. He asked what kind of car she was driving and what color and he walked over to her and tried to help her get her car opened up. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to accomplish what he went for...but he had the at least tried! I bet no other dealership would do that, the owner no less! That man stopped what he was doing to help her out and she wasn't over to his dealership looking at one of his vehicles on his lot! What he did is a prime example of why we all should consider buying local and helping out our hometown heros that help us! Thank you for being a great person with a good heart in our time of need. This is what customer service, community service and good business is all about! Thank you Mr. Messick!
