Fisher family motors put in an alternator for me. I am always apprehensive when I'm negotiating car repairs, as a single female, and a fish out of water, I tend to be at the mercy of the mechanic as far as issues and remedies. Jim is the exception to every horrible experience I've ever had. He was quick to respond to my inquiry, he was reassuring about when he would be able to be reached, and he promised that he would get it installed that day. And he did everything that he said he would. I just felt like I was in good hands during the whole transaction. There was a level of trust that I haven't felt in that transaction before. It's like my brother was giving me advice. I can't recommend him highly enough. And the topper to all of this, when all was said and done, my total bill was $150 less than the next closest quote. He's like the mythical unicorn of mechanics and I can't recommend him highly enough. I used to think that" honest mechanic" was an oxymoron but Jim has changed my way of thinking. Thank you so much for your help, Jim. You've got all my future business! PS... I'm looking for. He also has a small assortment of used vehicles for sale. He has personally inspected each one knowing it's in good mechanical order before it goes on his lot. Not only am I a repair customer but I will also be at sales customer.
Was looking for a Toyota minivan for some time due to my growing family. Jim is up front and very easy to work with. I typically shy away from car dealers but this is an actual* family owned business. Would do the process all over again, that's how easy Jim made it! Thanks, Roberto.
This had to be the best experience I’ve ever had with a mechanic in my many years. He was fair, reasonable and fast. I highly highly recommend him. Great job Jim! And thank you again’
