I’m a returning customer of the former Don Hall Chevrolet. I’d bought a 2019 Traverse back then and this time came to pickup a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 Custom. From the time I found the listing online to the time I signed the paperwork, the staff at Mark Porter Chevrolet were awesome. I worked with Caleb and Lucas the finance guy. Both made everything so simple and straightforward. Anytime I had a question about something it was answered with ease and confidence which says volumes about the workers. I’m planning to purchase again in about 3.5 years for my wife again. When I do, I’ll be going back to Mark Porter Chevrolet in Ashland KY to do so.
The staff there are always friendly & professional and are very courteous. I went in for an oil change and had an "update" that would not run for me. Because I scheduled my appointment online, they had no idea I was coming in for service. This is the second time this has happened to me. Next time, I will call as I do not like having to wait so long after I scheduled an appointment (or at least thought I had appointment.) Your online appointment scheduling should definitely be fixed! Then they tell me I have to reschedule for next week to get my "update" fixed as the guys doing the oil change do not do the software updates. This is VERY frustrating as I do not have time to keep running back and forth. My car is still under warranty but it sure makes me wonder what happens when these so called "updates" are not under warranty. Is there a way to turn them off? There should be, especially if a customer cannot get them taken care of during a routine oil change. I wish there was a car with NO software updates as this is just another tactic for price gauging customers.
I highly recommend Mark Porters in Ashland Kentucky and here is way... We walked in wanting a vehicle as we was greeted by many of the staff. That was when we meet a man by the the name of Dominiek this man's focus was nothing but our wants as he had all the answers for any of our questions we threw at him as he made this process as smooth as can be while making us as comfortable as we could be. After we was done he introduced us to a great guy by the name of Luke Stevenson. Luke was just as smooth as Dom and gave us a sense of true care and concern as he made sure we was protected if anything was to go wrong. He never pushed anything rather he explained everything thoroughly and made sure everything was handle as proper and right. Luke seemed to be of authority but as passive as someone in leadership could be. Anyways, thank you guys for everything we are extremely happy and must I say riding in style and comfort because of you guys and Mark Porters.... They made us feel like I we was of significant importance as they never pushed nor made us feel of any obligations. Best service I have had in my life time.
