Dealer's notes

2004 Ford Thunderbird Convertible 3.9L V8 86,379 Miles Removable Porthole Hardtop Two-Tone Leather Gold Country Classic Cars is pleased to offer this 2004 Ford Thunderbird, showing 86,379 miles and featuring a beautiful deep metallic red exterior, contrasting tan convertible top, two-tone tan and black leather interior, and the highly desirable removable color-matched hardtop with iconic Thunderbird porthole windows. Ford revived the Thunderbird for the 2002 model year with a design heavily influenced by the legendary two-seat T-Birds of the 1950s. With its long hood, short rear deck, round headlights, egg-crate grille and distinctive hardtop, the result was unmistakably Thunderbirdbut with the comfort and drivability of a modern automobile. V8 POWER & REAR-WHEEL DRIVE Under the hood is Fords 3.9-liter DOHC 32-valve V8, factory rated at 280 horsepower and 286 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent through a 5-speed automatic transmission to the rear wheels, giving this Thunderbird the traditional American grand-touring configuration. This isnt simply a convertible. With the removable hardtop installed, it takes on the classic profile of the early Thunderbird coupes, complete with the signature round porthole windows. Remove the hardtop and you have the power-operated tan soft top for open-air cruising. WELL-EQUIPPED INTERIOR Inside youll find an attractive two-tone light tan and black leather interior that contrasts beautifully with the exterior. The cabin retains the distinctive retro-modern Thunderbird design, including the two-tone leather-wrapped steering wheel, matching shift knob, metallic-look dash and console trim, and Thunderbird badging. Equipment includes power seating, power windows and locks, automatic climate control, factory audio system, cruise control, tilt steering, center console and dual cupholders. The car rides on 17-inch wheels with P235/50R17 tires and also features a chrome luggage rack, adding another period-inspired touch to the cars appearance. HIGHLIGHTS 86,379 miles 3.9L DOHC 32-valve V8 280 horsepower 286 lb-ft of torque 5-speed automatic transmission Rear-wheel drive Deep metallic red exterior Two-tone tan and black leather interior Color-matched removable hardtop Signature Thunderbird porthole windows Tan power convertible soft top 17-inch wheels Chrome rear luggage rack Power seating Automatic climate control Power windows and locks Cruise control Four-wheel independent suspension Four-wheel disc brakes with ABS Traction control VEHICLE INFORMATION Year: 2004 Make: Ford Model: Thunderbird Body: Two-Door Convertible/Roadster Mileage: 86,379 Engine: 3.9L DOHC V8 Transmission: 5-Speed Automatic Drivetrain: Rear-Wheel Drive VIN: 1FAHP60A14Y112443 Manufacture Date: 08/2004 The final-generation Thunderbird occupies an interesting place in Ford history. It was a purpose-built two-seat V8 roadster created to celebrate the design and character of the original Thunderbird while providing modern conveniences and road manners. With its V8 engine, rear-wheel drive, removable porthole hardtop and power convertible top, this Thunderbird offers three distinct personalities: a stylish closed coupe, a soft-top convertible, or a completely open roadster. At 86,379 miles, this example isnt a car that needs to spend its life hidden away. Its a Thunderbird you can get in, drive, cruise and enjoy. Whether youre looking for a weekend cruiser, a comfortable road-trip car, or an affordable modern American collectible, this 2004 Thunderbird offers a lot of car for the money. I’m usually not a fan of posting comments or reviews but with that being said I have to comment on the excellent experience I had with Gold Country Classics. I spoke with Sergio about a 1965 Chevrolet Impala SS he had. He messaged me some videos that described and showed the car. I gave him a call, within minutes we struck a deal and literally less than 24 hours the car was being delivered to me. In this day and age it’s hard to find the integrity and honesty that GCC portrays. A pleasure to do business with. Thanks so much to Sergio and Jade. Appreciate you

I had a great experience with Sergio and Jade at Gold Country. It was my first time doing business with them and we made a purchase from the other side of the country. We had a couple of things to iron out after the purchase and Sergio was 100% responsive and customer focused. I would work with these guys again. You put a lot of trust in somebody buying a car across the country. These guys treated me like I was a customer for life and not just a one-time buyer.

I ran across gold country Classic Cars as my cousin and I were searching for a 57 Chevy Bel Air for my dad. The 57 Bel Air has always been my dad’s dream and we had been searching for a while to find the right fit. As luck would have it, we came across Sergio and Jade. From my first discussion with Sergio, he was very professional and easy to talk to. We took a leap of faith and ended up purchasing this car sight unseen which I would have normally never considered, Crazy I know. However Sergio thoroughly provided info to show that he was a legitimate business that could be trusted and was already established in the classic car community. Even the shipping company that Sergio scheduled had a high level of professionalism, where the driver commented that Sergio demanded such levels of details to ensure the car arrived in the best condition. I have the highest level of recommendation for this business. They were fair, accurate and most importantly trustworthy. Sadly traits that are hard to come by now a days. Sergio always took my phone call, followed through with all his promises and most importantly delivered a car as described. Jade and Sergio thanks again for helping me through this deal and wish you the best of luck in your business, you guys deserve it, Keep up the great work!
