**The color is the whole point.**A 2002 Ford Thunderbird Deluxe Convertible in yellow is already a car that gets noticed. Add the yellow and black interior, body-color removable hardtop, chrome wheels, V8 power, and only 28,388 miles, and this becomes much more than just an older convertible. This is a car people buy because it makes them feel something. The retro Thunderbird was never meant to be a basic commuter car. It was built to bring back the personal-luxury convertible feel: long hood, short deck, two-seat layout, removable hardtop, soft-top open-air driving, and a design that still looks special more than 20 years later. In yellow, it has the exact kind of personality a Thunderbird should have.Power comes from a 3.9L DOHC V8 paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. That combination gives the car a smooth, relaxed grand-touring feel rather than trying to be a harsh sports car. It is meant for nice days, weekend drives, cruise nights, lake roads, dinner runs, and the kind of driving where style matters as much as speed. The equipment and presentation are what make this one stand out. The yellow exterior, yellow/black interior, chrome wheels, and body-color hardtop give it the right collector-style look. Many Thunderbirds are nice, but not every one has the full visual package. This one does. The mileage is a major part of the story. At only 28,388 miles, this Thunderbird has been used very lightly for the year. CARFAX shows the first owner kept the car for more than 20 years and averaged only about 1,369 miles per year. That kind of ownership pattern makes sense for a car like this. It was not just transportation. It was a special-use vehicle. The CARFAX history also shows personal vehicle history, no total loss reported, no structural damage reported, no airbag deployment reported, no odometer rollback indicated, no open recalls reported, and no title brands reported. It also shows service history through Gordie Boucher Ford, including maintenance inspections, battery checks, brake checks, oil changes, tires, and related service over time. For transparency, CARFAX does show a 2009 accident reported as moderate damage after the vehicle hit a ditch. That history should be reviewed by any serious buyer, but CARFAX does not show total loss, structural damage, airbag deployment, odometer issues, or branded title concerns. On a specialty vehicle, history matters, and this one should be judged by the full picture: low miles, visual presentation, ownership story, title history, and current condition.Market-wise, this Thunderbird sits in a very specific lane. Buyers are not comparing it to normal convertibles. They are looking for the right color, the right miles, the hardtop, the right interior, and the right overall feel. This one has the kind of presence that makes people stop scrolling.Buss Ford has been family-owned since 1928, and this vehicle is backed by our 5-Day Best Price Guarantee and 5-Day Money Back Guarantee. If you are looking for a clean, low-mile Thunderbird that actually looks like a Thunderbird should, this is the one to see. The yellow paint, matching hardtop, yellow/black interior, chrome wheels, V8, and extremely low mileage are exactly why this one stands out. Buying a pre owned vehicle should feel simple, transparent, and comfortable. At Buss Ford Lincoln, every pre owned vehicle receives an 82 point inspection focused on road readiness, safety, and reliability. Most vehicles come with a 90 day or 4,000 mile warranty, and vehicle history reports are available for added confidence before you buy. With one of Illinois largest used vehicle inventories, we give you the selection of a larger volume dealership with the hometown service our customers have trusted since 1928. You will not go wrong in choosing Buss Ford, Brandon Wiley and Chris Larson for your next vehicle. I was able to get my hearts desire in a vehicle. I drove from Louisville Ky to McHenry IL to pick it up. I drove that far because I trusted this company and it’s employees to be honest. The trust I have in this family business comes from watching the way Buss Ford treats it employees and it’s customers like they are part of the Buss family. That is a rare commodity in today’s world. Brandon Wiley went above and beyond to find me what I wanted and then get it picked up from a dealer in WI. Chris Larson sat with me and taught me how to utilize all the features of my new FORD beauty. He was patient while I asked the same questions until I got it. I have since driven back to have running boards installed. When I handed them my keys for service, I knew my Explorer was in the best of hands.

Wow! An awesome experience purchasing our Lincoln Aviator with the assistance of Chris Larson. As I explained to my coworker at school, her fear of working with a car salesman depends on who that salesman is. Chris was very professional and has a great personality. He gave us the time and attention we needed, thorough details, and follow-up contact. Communication is key. If you want the best salesman then I suggest contacting Chris at Buss Ford and Lincoln. He is very busy (because he is so great in his profession) so I do recommend an appointment. He makes time for everyone. We visited six dealerships and we felt very comfortable at Buss' dealership. They have been in business for 90 years. I rely on reviews and hope this one gives you confidence to visit them.
