2012 Ford E-Series

I have been visiting Platt for a few years and now it finally happened. I was able to buy my first electric car and I love it. The salespeople there really know their electric cars and, of course, drive them. Very knowledgeable, no pressure. They also helped me get a fat state and federal rebate which made the cost extremely reasonable. Highly recommended!!

I've heard about Platt Auto for years, but only in keeping up with the electric car industry. With the recent depreciation in used EV prices given multiple external factors, I felt it was time to take serious consideration. I originally worked with Peter to test drive a Polestar 2. The experience was fantastic, but I was leaving for out-of-state the next day and didn't want to make a rash decision. While away, I communicated with Peter on the other EVs in their inventory, primarily Tesla Model 3s.After further researching the Federal and State used EV rebates, I narrowed down my search and decided that the pearl white 2021 Tesla Model 3 SR+ RWD on Platt's lot was the best option for me. Ray supported me in this purchase. Being $24,999, it opened up the Federal used EV rebate, so I was able to get an immediate $4,000 off at point-of-sale. I was also able to utilize the Oregon Charge Ahead rebate fro $5,000, which will come in the form of a check to me because I didn't receive my pre-qualified voucher before buying the car. Suddenly a clean-report, 1-previous-owner $25k Tesla with 42,000 miles on it became $16k. Platt offered a great trade-in deal for my 2015 Toyota Prius C, lowering my payment amount for the Tesla to $10k. After fees were added in, I essentially purchased a Tesla for $10,412.49 (accounting for the incoming Oregon rebate). The owner of Platt Auto (I don't believe I got his name, but he's usually around working on the lot) also assisted me after purchase. So I want to thank Peter, Ray, & Mr. Platt! If anyone else is thinking about purchasing an EV, this is the perfect time to do so. The rebates are still around (Oregon's is still around until early June this year!), Tesla keeps dropping prices (causing the industry to fluctuate to keep up), and rental car companies are dumping their EVs into the market (causing prices to go down even more). It's a better time than any we've previously seen. I've already convinced someone else and they love their decision to not only purchase a used (and cheap!) Tesla Model 3, but also do so from Platt Auto. (Their Model 3 is the red one behind mine.)

I bought my 2014 Nissan Leaf from Greg Platt 6 years ago, and I am still loving my car! Greg is truly a gem. I will never buy a car from anyone else! My car has literally had NO issues in 6 years, and finally today, the small accessory battery needed to be changed and he swapped it right out for a new one at half the price. He's the best! My car is now 10 years old and it only has 37,000 miles on it. Thanks Greg! :)
