I just purchased an 04 F150 from 611 Auto Sales. The vehicle they had was on consignment. The truck was recently inspected at a service station that they do not use. I dropped the truck off with my mechanic for an oil change and just to check the truck out. He informed me that the truck had a hole in the frame and also a hole in the muffler, which both items should have not passed inspection. Let me first say that I have been in the auto business for about 30 years and this was the first vehicle that I have purchased outside of my own dealership. When I first called the dealership and talked to John he was very professional and described the truck just as it was. When I arrived and talked to John he was very polite and not pushy. I decided to buy the truck and was aware that it was being sold As IS. When my mechanic informed me about the two issues, I sent John a text showing the pictures. In only a few minutes he responded and said the owner Laura would be calling me. And Laura did promptly give me a call and offer to help and even made an offer to by me a new muffler. Keep in mind that the vehicle was sold As IS and they did not do the inspection, and they really did not have to do anything. I told Laura that I was very impressed by her follow up and offer to help.If you are looking for an honest dealership and great people, I would highly recommend John and Laura.
