This is my updated review of Volkswagen of South Mississippi. I received a phone call from Zach Kunz-Fixed Operations Director yesterday. We discussed my complaint in depth. Zach was professional at all times and has resolved the issues I wrote about in my initial review. In fact, he went above and beyond to make us satisfied customers. Going forward, I will highly recommend VW of South for service repairs. When we are in the market for a new vehicle we will certainly visit VW of South Mississippi. Thank you very much Zach. Tony and Paula Ballard We took our 2017 Touareg in this week for a battery issue. I explained the issue to the service writer. The car would not start after sitting for a couple of days, sometimes longer. The battery was replaced. During my conversation with the service writer I made him aware the coolant cut off valve/heater control valve was faulty. I knew this was the problem because I had taken the vehicle back to the pre-owned dealer I purchased it from in Mobile and the technician informed me it was not working. It was on a Saturday, so no chance to get it repaired there. Because I declined to have it replaced at VW of South Mississippi I was charged $165.00 fee for them providing me an estimate. Yes the service writer told me of this charge, however, I made him aware of the faulty valve before they checked it. He did say the $165.00 would be credited if I got the faulty valve replaced. I hope your dealership enjoys my $165.00 keeping you in business. You will never see me grace your doors to purchase a vehicle or have any future worked performed on my current vehicle. On top of that, I was told if I did get the work done I would have to pay for the part upfront because it was a non-stock item. Tony and Paula Ballard

First visit, first impressions. Subject to change of course. Recently moved from SE Michigan to the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. Though they are the ONLY VW dealership in the area, I've not heard (online) anything bad about them. I visited the facility, talked directly to the service manger and one of the mechanics about service and they got me in the same day and were quick with the cars service needs (oil change and tire rotation). Facility appeared to be in good order and staff were kind and energetic. The one thing I will miss is the Michigan facility would loan you a car if it was an all day job or in the body shop. A couple of customers in the waiting room informed me this dealership not only does not offer loaners, they also do not have a shuttle. I didn't ask so I could not confirm this. So, if there's ever a reason to leave my car there for an extended period of time, this may result in a lower rating.

Entire staff was extremely friendly/welcoming and not at all pushy or deceiving like most dealers i've experienced. Marshall, my salesman, was very informative and friendly. He as well as Stephen made sure I received the best deal for my trade-in. I couldn't be more satisfied!
