2017 Ford Explorer XLT 4WD finished in Magnetic Metallic with the Sport Appearance Package, Driver Connect Package, Comfort Package, and over $45,000 in original MSRP. This isn't the stripped-down rental-spec Explorer most people picture when they hear XLT.This one was ordered right. And honestly, that's what makes it interesting. The Magnetic Metallic paint paired with the blacked-out Sport Appearance Package gives this Explorer a much more aggressive look than the chrome-heavy family SUVs that were common during this era. Add the 20-inch premium wheels, black roof rails, dark trim accents, and black leather-trimmed interior, and it still looks surprisingly current today. The equipment list is strong too. This Explorer came equipped with navigation, remote start, premium audio, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, power liftgate, dual-zone climate control, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, hands-free foot-activated liftgate, front and rear parking sensors, and Ford's Driver Connect Package. Original MSRP exceeded $45,000 when new.And the ownership history may be the best part.CARFAX shows a true 1-owner Illinois Explorer with nearly nine years of ownership, no accidents reported, no structural damage, no airbag deployment, and below-average annual mileage.Even better, much of the service history was completed right here at Buss Ford.Oil changes, transmission service, spark plugs, brake inspections, tire rotations, air filters, cabin filters, maintenance inspections, rear brake replacement, and ongoing service work were documented throughout ownership. That's exactly the kind of history buyers hope to find when shopping vehicles with over 100,000 miles.Because here's the reality:At this price point, you're not buying perfection. You're buying ownership history. And a 1-owner SUV that was regularly serviced, locally owned, and kept nearly nine years by the same family tells a much different story than most vehicles in this segment. In today's market, replacing a three-row 4WD SUV has become expensive. That's why vehicles like this continue attracting practical buyers. It offers family space, winter capability, modern safety features, and a strong ownership story without pushing buyers into newer-SUV payment territory.History reflects Ford customer satisfaction and recall programs related to the A-pillar molding and rear-view camera system. These are manufacturer-supported programs available through Ford dealers. This vehicle qualifies for Buss Ford's 5-Day Best Price Guarantee and 5-Day Money Back Guarantee from a family-owned dealership serving customers since 1928.If you're looking for a clean, local, 1-owner Explorer with the right equipment and a documented service history, this is the type of SUV worth calling about. Vehicles with this kind of ownership story tend to be the ones buyers feel best about six months after they take them home. Buying a pre owned vehicle should feel simple, transparent, and comfortable. At Buss Ford Lincoln, every pre owned vehicle receives an 82 point inspection focused on road readiness, safety, and reliability. Most vehicles come with a 90 day or 4,000 mile warranty, and vehicle history reports are available for added confidence before you buy. With one of Illinois largest used vehicle inventories, we give you the selection of a larger volume dealership with the hometown service our customers have trusted since 1928. Shop with confidence in a friendly, no pressure environment, and ask us about our 5 Day Best Price Guarantee and 5 Day Money Back Guarantee. You will not go wrong in choosing Buss Ford, Brandon Wiley and Chris Larson for your next vehicle. I was able to get my hearts desire in a vehicle. I drove from Louisville Ky to McHenry IL to pick it up. I drove that far because I trusted this company and it’s employees to be honest. The trust I have in this family business comes from watching the way Buss Ford treats it employees and it’s customers like they are part of the Buss family. That is a rare commodity in today’s world. Brandon Wiley went above and beyond to find me what I wanted and then get it picked up from a dealer in WI. Chris Larson sat with me and taught me how to utilize all the features of my new FORD beauty. He was patient while I asked the same questions until I got it. I have since driven back to have running boards installed. When I handed them my keys for service, I knew my Explorer was in the best of hands.
Wow! An awesome experience purchasing our Lincoln Aviator with the assistance of Chris Larson. As I explained to my coworker at school, her fear of working with a car salesman depends on who that salesman is. Chris was very professional and has a great personality. He gave us the time and attention we needed, thorough details, and follow-up contact. Communication is key. If you want the best salesman then I suggest contacting Chris at Buss Ford and Lincoln. He is very busy (because he is so great in his profession) so I do recommend an appointment. He makes time for everyone. We visited six dealerships and we felt very comfortable at Buss' dealership. They have been in business for 90 years. I rely on reviews and hope this one gives you confidence to visit them.
Isaac Chambers made my car buying experience as easy and smooth as possible. I am thrilled with my new Ford Bronco!
