I had a rather interesting experience that I felt compelled to share given the reviews left for this dealership. Scroll for TL;DR at the end. Background I had been looking for a pre-owned HD truck in a specific trim for over a month and had finally expanded my search outside my immediate area. Tustin had one with all of the features I needed, with a dreamy amount of miles, and an even dreamier price point. I sent an inquiry for the truck and then… I began reading the reviews. Cue needle scratching on vinyl sound. We had been saving diligently for nearly a decade to purchase a truck that not only had the towing capabilities I needed but also offered the comfort level we work very hard for. This truck was going to be the most I ever paid for a vehicle. Naturally when I read the reviews I was extremely uncomfortable at the thought of doing business with this dealership. Even though the advertised price was wonderful, I decided it would be better to keep searching. First Call The next morning I received a call from Bryan Munoz in response to the inquiry I had put in prior to reading all the reviews. I told him in no uncertain terms that I was going to pass on the truck due to what I had read online. Despite my rather combative attitude (I’m putting this lightly), he was extremely professional, pleasant, and just straightforward. In the end I asked for an out-the-door price in writing, which I received with zero ambiguity. Despite being fully convinced that I would never set foot in the dealership, here I was, less than 48 hours later making the five hour drive down to Tustin. The experience at the dealership was equally impressive. After weeks of browsing pre-owned lots you start to equate the feeling with sitting through a time-share presentation for the free continental breakfast. Tustin was nothing like that. Everyone was extremely professional and surprisingly easygoing. Since we had already negotiated over the phone and were happy with the out-the-door price, all it took was a quick inspection and test drive before we were ready to commit. The Finance Process We qualified and were able to give our down payment in the form of a personal check. The finance manager went out of his way to get us a rate two whole percentage points lower- something he definitely did not have to do since we had already agreed to the price at the higher rate. They got us in and out in 54 minutes! Super fast. In conclusion I am incredibly impressed with the seamlessness of purchasing a pre-owned vehicle from Tustin. I could not have imagined a better outcome. I do think that outlining our expectations and negotiating over the phone before we even made the trek down simplified the whole process. I highly recommend Bryan Munoz as a sales agent. He was wonderful, straightforward, and I believe incredibly honest. Ask for him specifically if you’re at all nervous about the purchase, as I was. I’ll update my review if anything changes but I won’t hesitate to recommend Tustin, especially with their pricing and professionalism. Shout out to C(K?)rystal, Jorge, and Faizan (the two percentage points guy!) who we also interacted with during our purchase. Included pictures of my gigantic new baby! TL;DR We had a pleasant buying experience with Bryan Munoz. In order to minimize confusion about any fees, ask for an outline during phone negotiations. Know what the car comes with. Know your credit score before you call and ask about what forms of payment you may qualify for. I highly recommend Tustin Buick et al.
10/10 experience the sales guy Raul was really nice and very knowledgeable he made the deal go smooth. Craig the finance manager also made everything smooth. Best dealership experience I've ever had.
We had the pleasure of having Mariah as our sales person, she was very professional and easy going. She considered every request we presented and made the buying experience very smooth and stress free. She made the experience pleasant and got the deal and truck we wanted! Would highly recommend and was definitely worth the 2.5 hour drive. The finance guy was really nice too but forgot his name, my apologies.
