I've owned nearly 30 cars, but never purchased out of state, so this was my first go. This dealership is VERY different from any other car buying experience I've ever had. Great communication, but never once spoke on the phone to anyone. All text/email...but it works. Read through the FAQ on their website, and you'll get a feel for how the dealership runs. It is very strange compared to a traditional dealership, but it's actually really efficient. Abe was prompt with responses and gave me a detailed overview of the car including pros and cons. He was nice enough to take the car to a local shop for a pre purchase inspection. The inspection noted things I had already been told about by Abe, so his honesty is appreciated! The price was fair, the car was as described, and everything went smoothly. Overall it was a good experience, despite being stressed by spending that much money on a car I had never seen. Huge risk, but it turned out great. Shipping pick-up and delivery also worked well, using the transportation company that Starfire recommend on their website. Overall it was the best experience I've had with a car dealership, especially considering the terrible experiences I've had with used car dealers in the past. This was one of the smoothest transactions I've had, and it's halfway across the country so that's saying something!

I know this review is going to seem pointless and have now reasoning to back up a 5 star review. I was reading some of the negative 1 star reviews for this business and I'm sorry any business that has been around for as long as they have and have a 4.7 star rating with most of them being 5 stars is really good. Anyway, just to let everyone know i am a ASE certified master tech. I have been working on cars for years and yes, any car that is bought for under $4000 and is more than 10 years old expect to run into some issues. Even with a carfax report you might know how often the car was serviced and if it been in an accident or has a salvage title, but what you don't know is how the car has been treated or how hard it has been driven over its life. Ex. I would have customer want oil changes on there BMW or Mercedees that require synthetic oil only from the manufacture and customers would come in requesting the cheap conventional oil change which is a lower grade oil than the manufacture requires. And guess what our service writers and lube techs would do it. I could go on and on about cheap repairs customers want done on their cars, but I don't think you should give a used car dealer a hard time about a car they sold you that's under $4000 and 10 years old.

already put 5k miles on my new car with no issue. love the car. and thank you for reimbursing the smog check as promised. thought that was gonna be swept under the rug but they actually held true to their word which is quite respectable. wouldn't hesitate to buy my next car from here.
