2004 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4.0 AWD

I recently purchased a used Cadillac Escalade from these folks and I give 5 stars because this dealer is top notch! Im an out of state customer and committed before seeing the vehicle “which is something I normally don't do” but they answered all of my questions and made me comfortable enough to take a 3.5 hour drive from virginia the next morning to pick up the suv. In person the truck looked better than i expected and after a short test drive I knew it was the one! I came with funds in hand so pretty much only needed to sign documents. I am a former GM technician and had over 12 years of GM experience between CADILLAC, GMC, CHEVY & BUICK, so i know these Escalades like no other. It is a USED VEHICLE and needed only a driver side mirror assembly as it was taped in one area which i didn't bother to mention to the dealer because i knew i would be able to pick one up from a scrap yard for less than $100 which is what i did. Brakes passed PA inspection but not VA so I brought it home and replaced all belts & pulleys, brakes pads , rotors , tires, and flushed all fluids on my own. The truck was good off the lot but when buying a used car its always good to take care of the simple wear and tear items on your own or at least do another inspection because the dealer is only selling the vehicle so there may be things even they don't know about it so instead of crying about little issues i always recommend people to set aside some money when u buy used cars to do a round of preventative maintenance as soon as you buy a used car. Please note the truck was fine as is but like i said im a former tech so i am mechanical inclined to look for things to do when i buy a car. Bought a 2004 Chevy Silverado from here last month in solid condition! Everything about the experience was very smooth. Ryan and Jackie were super nice and helpful. Came back over the following couple weeks to get a few minor things repaired (expected for a 20yr old truck). They took care of the issues and were very responsive.
