I was just trading war stories with my friend about bad dealership experiences. Then I remembered that my experience at Superior was completely unremarkable. I went in after work in June of 2019. They had a silver Transit Connect listed on their site with an incentive stacked price. I paid that price and left less than 3 hours later. It was like buying a gallon of milk. It was so painless, I forgot I bought it there. If I still lived in Minnesota, and if Ford still made the Transit Connect, and if my Transit Connect had failed, I'd buy another one at Superior.
I trust this dealer and the people who work throughout. Great location, product, and employees. Let me put it this way... I bought a personal vehicle, sight unseen, based solely off of the facts given over the phone by Chris Tema. Word for word, the car is exactly as described. Not to mention Tema stayed late and had the paperwork ready by the time I had arrived. Top shelf through and through.
Tema got me into a 2013 Ford F-150 Lariat one year ago. I bought a truck from him last April. After talking with him on and off for over 3 years. I was scared to even try because I thought my credit was beyond repair because I overextended when I was younger so I had been paying cash forever for everything. And he told me that hindered me and that's why he couldn't get me into a loan for a Super Duty. He sent me five videos of the truck he wanted to sell me which was the F-150. He sent me a video of him taking it for a drive so I could hear it while he was talking. When I went in to the dealership I don't even think I was there more than one hour. He had everything done. All I had to do was sign papers. We went for a test drive and we had a great time. We were laughing and joking. I've been in the automotive industry for over 25 years and I've seen lots of car salesmen, and he's not typical. That guy has gone so out of his way to even do things for me now to keep guiding me in the right direction. So when I'm ready to get my Super Duty I will be lined up. He's not just about the sale. I do believe he's about the relationship and helping people and I firmly believe that. I will not hesitate to call Tema when I'm ready to upgrade this truck. By the way? He even took care of me after my sale. When I had an issue with my brakes he handled it through warranty. I have a lot of respect for him. And I'm not getting paid for this review. He didn't ask me for this review, but I watched the video where he was asking for past clients of Minnesota Fresh start to speak their truth about him and I'm telling you the truth. I've never worked with a car salesman as great as him or as easy to work with as him. If you want a loan and you meet the criteria, he will help you get that loan. And I think if he cant because maybe your situation is a little worse than you want to deal with at the time, he will absolutely guide you in the right direction to let you know what you need to do so you can get that loan as quick as you can. I should have written this review a long time ago. I think he's a class act of a guy and that transcends beyond selling cars. He's just an all-around good guy and that's my honest opinion.
