I was in Michigan on vacation and damaged a CV joint. I went to.Szott Ford late on a Saturday and was helped by Brendan. He located a part for me at another dealer, but could not call since they were already closed. He set me up with an Appointment for Monday and told me to wait for a call Monday came and I was notified that the dealer did not have that part in stock but he ordered it and it would arrive the next day so I should show up Tuesday morning at 8 AM which I did. Upon arriving, I was greeted, checked in and went to a very nice and comfortable waiting room. And I spoke to her very nice woman at the cashiers desk who showed me around And invited me to sit in one of the two massage chairs. I thought for sure it was gonna take several hours but an hour and a half later I was done. Everybody at this dealership was extremely friendly and accommodating. I didn’t buy my vehicle here. Nobody knew me and I was treated Best friends. If I live closer, I would do all my business here.

They were the fourth Ford Dealership I called as my local options told me they couldn’t assist me for several weeks. Szott made it easy for me to drop off after-hours and kept me informed along the way. I will definitely call on them again for future issues, and recommend them for people who need service.

I bought a 2012 Ford Edge Sport a few years ago because I had been driving mostly GM for a decade and wanted to give Fords another try. I unfortunately found it to be a pretty issue prone car and expensive to repair. Well, Matt from the sales department cold contacted me one day and I explained the issues I was having. He asked me what kind of car I might like and I told him that this time I wanted to go back to basics. No touch screens, no flat panels, no fancy features, as these were all sources of expensive repairs in the Edge, and I could drive stick and if he could make something work to get me out of the Edge I'd be willing to try it out. I wasn't expecting much but when I came in for my appointment, he had several cars lined up for me to try and most of them fit my criteria in some fashion or another. I eventually drove this Red Jeep Wrangler. Fully manual with a soft top, and my wife was a fan of these cars as well. I also happened to have several friends with Jeeps who all seemed to love them. It wasn't perfect, but I fell in love. Matt made the numbers work and sold me the Jeep at a very fair price so I could trade in my old car, and he was able to work with the service department to fix most every issue I raised on the test drive. All but one of which they were already aware of, and had parts on order for already before I ever looked at it. The one issue the service department wouldn't fix (The car was missing the tire pressure sensors because the previous owner had replaced the rims), but the Service Manager was very up front about cost effective ways I could resolve the problem on my own. I noticed after the fact they even fixed a cosmetic fault in the cabin with the shifter knob that I didn't mention, but someone had obviously noticed at some point when I had it in for post buy service. Once I got done swapping insurance and such around, I'm paying about as much for this as I was for my Edge in a newer car at half the miles. 2nd time buyer from Szott Ford, so far I see no reason I won't expect to eventually become a 3rd. Matt was an honest guy who made sure to let me know of the pro's and cons of each vehicle I looked at that day, but never made me feel pressured to purchase anything.
