I recently bought my second Subaru Forester at McGovern Subaru of Acton and had an excellent experience. Erik Holm, our sales representative, was very knowledgeable and accommodating during and after the transaction. He continues to help me with the new technology and encourages me to contact him anytime. Thank you for a great experience!

North Reading Subaru - Great Experience I just purchased a new Subaru Outback from North Reading Subaru. This was after many years of working with Woburn Toyota on my old Highlander. After reading good things about the Outback I checked it out and am very happy with my decision to get the new 2024 model. The dealership was outstanding to work with…professional and communicative. The sales process can often shape the overall experience and I have to say that our agent, Julie, was terrific! She new her stuff and was excellent at follow-up and vehicle details. This is a family run operation and it shows in every facet of the business. Highly recommend…

Ernie, I want to say how I hold you in high esteem as well as I do your father for the dynasty that you built, real, sincere, and honest. You were also so good to your Vice President, Jimmy Carroll who was a mutual friend of my boy friend and all the guys on Maple Street in Lynn near St.Pius. We know that you took care of all his medical bills and there wasn't a dry eye in the church of St. Thomas Aquinas at his funeral mass. Jimmy loved his Subarus. I also have much respect for Brian Kelly and his sons, they are simply amazing. I am writing to share what happened to me yesterday, if Jimmy were still with us, I would have confided in him. My best friend Janet Hurley from Lynnfield bought a brand new white 2019 Forester. Her sales person Al gave me a gift certificate because I referred her to him. Al remembers my receiving the gift certificate that had no expiration date on it because yesterday I tried to use the certificate and I asked both service and parts who was ordering a filter for my car if the certificate could be applied to the oil change. Both departments said, yes. When it came time to pay the bill, the service manager asked to see the certificate which he brought to the manager. The service manager said before he left that the two managers give these out to their friends. When he returned, he said he would not accept it. I said let's go ask the manager. The manager said it was bull----, you are a liar. I never gave this to you, as he is raising his voice to me, he said lower your voice. You made this up. Now he is the one who let me get a nail removed from one of my tires from a vehicle years ago and wouldn't take the gift certificate and told me to save it for another time. The manager threatened me, "I'm calling the police, I am having you arrested." I was sitting at Al's desk, he remembers the gift certificate if they give you $50.00 credit on the bill, say thank you. If they don't just say thank you and pay the bill. I went down to service, the service manager said what are you going to do, the right thing is for me to pay the bill. Thank you for doing the oil change, don't thank me I didn't do it. He had a big guy with him and I still said thank you. I paid cash and the service manager said going forward don't come back here again. He had tried to get the gift certificate back, I said you said they never gave it to me, he said we need it. I said, no ,it belongs to me. Ernie I am 70 years old, a senior citizen, and a minority, 100% Chinese. I grew up poor and I am proud, I did the right thing and paid the bill. I was a target, I don't want this to happen to anyone else. Jimmy Carroll would be very upset.
