2012 Ford Explorer XLT

I bought a car from Sanchez about 6 or 7 months ago. The car had a few minor mechanical issues that you would expect from a used car from the mid 2000s. All were easy fixes which I knew about when I bought the car, because I actually took the time to check it out well. It had one major issue which was a cam seal leaking oil pretty decently. I brought it to their attention and they said that if I bought the parts, their mechanic would perform the labor for free. Since repairing this issue required removing the timing belt, they said if I bought the timing belt and water pump, their mechanic would replace them at the same time. I thought this was fantastic considering that that alone is about $900 in labor costs I avoided. The mechanic did superb work and I have had no issues since. You have to remember that you are buying a used car, which could have a range of issues and many times the dealer is unaware. It is the buyers responsibility to check the car out well and also get anything promised in writing. Personally I would never buy a used car without making sure I knew all of the issues that it had first. I would definitely recommend Sanchez auto sales to friends and would go back my self.
