I was in the market for a new truck and decided to buy a Ford F-350. I searched for weeks online. I visited both Ford dealerships in Chattanooga. I also traveled to Birmingham and Huntsville to look at potential trucks. I found the truck that was right for me at Moss Motor Co, in South Pittsburg, TN. Moss is a relatively small Ford dealership, but their pricing was inline with the big dealerships. Dale Swafford was the member of the sales staff who helped me. His knowledge of Ford trucks was impressive. After test driving several trucks that were in stock, I decided on one. I received a generous discount on top of the competitive pricing. I had accumulated points on the Ford App from servicing a Ford truck I previously owned. No one at the big dealership ever took the time to tell me specifically what the points could be used for. At Moss Motor Company, I found out that I could use those points to buy a heavy-duty hitch for my new truck. I purchased an extended warranty with my new F350. Tracy Brown, the finance manager, showed me a variety of plans to choose from. Once again, I was impressed with the level of product knowledge. Many auto dealerships sell extended warranties that are from third party companies. These extended warranties are not as widely accepted by other dealerships as they lead you to believe. Moss sells genuine Ford extended warranties. There will not be a problem at any Ford dealership I might use it at. My buying experience was great! There was absolutely no pressure. All my questions were answered completely. There were no surprises when it came time to sign the paperwork.
