Chris treated me like I was his daughter, he didn’t push me to buy a vehicle, he asked me was I sure, he helped me with the loan process (explaining the trade in over the phone), he didn’t low ball me for the trade in, he helped me get insurance and tags. He asked me before I left could he call to make sure everything was okay because I drove a few cities away, they made sure the car was detailed and gassed up before I left, I really have no complaints.

I needed to find a car with affordable payments, and my credit is not so great. I found a Toyota Camry hybrid on Best of Clinton’s website and knew it would be the right one. I went up there after work and left with my Toyota about an hour later (they were quick). Chris was great to work with during the sale. Fast forward 3 weeks and the car starts flashing lights on the dashboard that indicated the hybrid battery needed to be replaced. I was very upset about this. If you’ve ever owned a hybrid, you know that even a refurbished hybrid battery pack is over $1500. I called Best of Clinton and they checked the codes and agreed that it needed replaced. When you buy a used car, the chances of a warranty is slim. Best was no exception; you drive it off the lot- it’s yours. However, I contacted them and they worked with me to help me with some of the cost for the battery replacement as a customer courtesy. They could’ve legally just told me to bug off, but they didn’t! I worked mostly with Nate on this. All I can say is that he was very patient with me, and I am very persistent. I would recommend Chris and Nate at Best of Clinton! My payments are affordable, and if I’m ever on the hunt for another car down the road- I’ll be going to Best of Clinton.

The experience I had with Bruce at Best of Clinton is EXACTLY how car buying should be. We spoke on the phone to talk about a Jeep Wrangler he had for sale, answered my questions, took pictures of locations I asked for that weren’t on the website, told me the current negotiated price someone was pending, didn’t pressure me to put down a deposit etc. In less than 2 hours I was able to inspect the Jeep, test drive the Jeep, get it washed, trade in my current vehicle and buy the new car. And all while having a friendly conversation about the Jeep and life lol. All I had to do was be sure to show up first thing the next morning. He respected I had to make a long trip there and made sure I got a chance to look and make an offer. It was very well priced and had gotten a lot of attention in a short amount of time on CarGurus. In terms of appraising my trade in; I was able to give him pictures of my current vehicle and he gave me an estimate over the phone! Something almost no one does these days. I understood it could go down depending on their in person assessment but when I showed up he respected the price and we kept things rolling. I would highly recommend Bruce and would not hesitate to buy from him again. He had offered to deliver it to me if the other person did not buy it the next day but I didn’t want to take that risk. It was priced very well, less than 20K miles and was exactly the color I wanted. After the transaction was over, he followed up quickly on delivering the registration and later the title. Thanks for being efficient, honest, responsive and easy to deal with Bruce!
