Dealer's notes

**This is not a lifestyle vehicle. It is a business tool.**That is exactly why this 2020 Ford Transit 250 deserves attention. For contractors, delivery companies, service businesses, mobile technicians, tradesmen, parts runners, or anyone who needs enclosed cargo space, a Transit is not bought for flash. It is bought because it can help make money, protect equipment, and keep a business moving. This Transit 250 is configured the way many commercial buyers want one: Medium Roof, 148-inch wheelbase, rear-wheel drive, 3.5L gas V6, 10-speed automatic transmission, Oxford White exterior, Dark Palazzo Gray vinyl interior, and a practical cargo-van layout. It is simple, usable, and built around function. The Medium Roof configuration is one of the biggest advantages here. It gives the van far more usable interior height than a low-roof cargo van without becoming as large or cumbersome as some high-roof commercial vans. For many businesses, that is the sweet spot: easier access to tools, inventory, shelving, boxes, supplies, and equipment while still remaining manageable for daily driving, parking lots, job sites, and delivery routes. The original window sticker also shows several useful work-focused options. This Transit was equipped with the 9,070-lb GVWR package, 3.73 limited-slip axle, reverse sensing system, long-arm power mirrors, front fog lamps, and the load area protection package with vinyl front and rear floor covering. Those are not luxury features. They are the kinds of options that make a cargo van easier to use every day.Under the hood is Fords 3.5L PFDI V6 paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. That combination gives this Transit a modern driving feel while keeping the overall setup straightforward and familiar for commercial use. Whether the next owner is using it for local service work, delivery routes, construction support, maintenance, mobile detailing, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, cleaning services, or general business transportation, this is the kind of van that can be adapted to the job.The CARFAX history shows this as a one-owner corporate vehicle that was last owned in Illinois. That makes sense for a Transit. These vans are usually purchased because a business has a job for them, and this one has clearly served that purpose. For transparency, CARFAX reports minor damage to the left front in August 2024. No total loss, no structural damage, no airbag deployment, no odometer rollback, and no title brands are reported by CARFAX. That is the right way to view this van: acknowledge the history, then look at the vehicle for what it is today.Market-wise, clean commercial vans remain in demand because replacing one with a newer model can get expensive quickly. Newer Transits can become a much larger financial conversation, especially once you start factoring in shelving, wraps, equipment, insurance, and business setup costs. This van gives a buyer a practical Transit 250 platform at a far more approachable price point.Buss Ford has been family-owned since 1928, and this vehicle is backed by our 5-Day Best Price Guarantee and 5-Day Money Back Guarantee. For the buyer who needs a real cargo van instead of another SUV or pickup, this Transit is worth seeing in person. The value is in the space, the configuration, and what it can do for the next business that puts it to work. Buying a pre owned vehicle should feel simple, transparent, and comfortable. At Buss Ford Lincoln, every pre owned vehicle receives an 82 point inspection focused on road readiness, safety, and reliability. Most vehicles come with a 90 day or 4,000 mile warranty, and vehicle history reports are available for added confidence before you buy. With one of Illinois largest used vehicle inventories, we give you the selection of a larger volume dealership with the hometown service our customers have trusted since 1928. Shop with confidence in a friendly, no pressure environment, and ask us about our 5 Day Best Price Guarantee and 5 Day Money Back Guarantee. At Buss Ford Lincoln, our pricing will sell you, our service will keep you.

You will not go wrong in choosing Buss Ford, Brandon Wiley and Chris Larson for your next vehicle. I was able to get my hearts desire in a vehicle. I drove from Louisville Ky to McHenry IL to pick it up. I drove that far because I trusted this company and it’s employees to be honest. The trust I have in this family business comes from watching the way Buss Ford treats it employees and it’s customers like they are part of the Buss family. That is a rare commodity in today’s world. Brandon Wiley went above and beyond to find me what I wanted and then get it picked up from a dealer in WI. Chris Larson sat with me and taught me how to utilize all the features of my new FORD beauty. He was patient while I asked the same questions until I got it. I have since driven back to have running boards installed. When I handed them my keys for service, I knew my Explorer was in the best of hands.

Wow! An awesome experience purchasing our Lincoln Aviator with the assistance of Chris Larson. As I explained to my coworker at school, her fear of working with a car salesman depends on who that salesman is. Chris was very professional and has a great personality. He gave us the time and attention we needed, thorough details, and follow-up contact. Communication is key. If you want the best salesman then I suggest contacting Chris at Buss Ford and Lincoln. He is very busy (because he is so great in his profession) so I do recommend an appointment. He makes time for everyone. We visited six dealerships and we felt very comfortable at Buss' dealership. They have been in business for 90 years. I rely on reviews and hope this one gives you confidence to visit them.
