2020 Ford Transit

Really like working with Jay. Laid back, easy going guy, and doesn’t use high pressure tactics! He made everything really easy for me and the truck buying process. I would recommend him and Mattern automotive to my friends and family.

Great car lot unlike the others. This is a smaller lot with a few guys and it was probably the best buying experience I've had through dealer/lot or private party. They were upfront about the car and what it was about. I spoke to Mike on a Saturday night when I caught him moving some cars before heading home. Was just driving by and saw the car outside. He was extremely nice and told me to come back on Tuesday to speak about the car as it was Memorial Day weekend. I came back Tuesday morning and spoke with a salesman and put an application in for the vehicle. Their finance guy called me back around 3PM and said come on in. Got there by 5:15PM and we were finished up before 6 and I drove it home. Very fast, friendly, and detail attentive. Mike personally gave me two receipts from Dobbs showing $1000 in preventative maintenance work and two new tires to show that it was ready to sell and drive. I'm taking this on a trip to Chicago tonight and will update this review on Monday night to see how it goes. I've been driving it for a few days now and it drives great with 72,000 miles. Thank you, Mike and the team at Mattern I'll be sure to keep you in mind when we get ready to look for a vehicle for my better half. EDIT: Just wanted to chime back in and say that I still own this vehicle and it's running as great as ever. Has about 96,000 miles on it now and it is just as reliable as the day I bought it. It made its Chicago trip fine as well as multiple trips to Quincy, IL, Jeff City, and Farmington. Thanks again!

Worked with Tony and he was extremely helpful. I purchased a service truck with no disappointments. Great truck for what I was looking for. I would go back to purchase another vehicle.
