A work van with receipts: 36 service records, no accidents reported in 14 years, and the last year of its maintenance done right here in our own shop.Cheap to buy, simple to fix, and honest about where it's been this 2012 E-150 cargo van is the rare work vehicle whose whole life is on paper. Sixty-seven detailed CARFAX records deep, and since spring 2025 it's been through the Buss Ford service lane more than a dozen times, so the people selling it to you are the same techs who've had it on the lift. Why this one stands out:4.6L EFI V8 with electronic 4-speed automatic overdriveE-150 cargo van on the 138-inch wheelbasePreferred Equipment Package 740A8,520-lb GVWR package with 4.10 axleHandling package and auxiliary transmission cooler33-gallon fuel tankTwin I-beam independent front suspension4-wheel disc brakes with ABS and AdvanceTrac with RSCHinged side cargo doors with fixed side and rear cargo glassVinyl floor covering front and rear built to hose out, not vacuumDual vinyl bucket seats and vinyl front headlinerCenter and rear cargo lightsCruise control and tilt steering wheelSYNC voice-activated systemPremium electronic AM/FM stereo with CD and clockPower exterior mirrors and remote keyless entry with panic alarmFront powerpoint, 120-amp alternator, tire pressure monitoringLT225/75R16 tires with full-size spareNo accidents or damage reported to CARFAX either ownerTwo owners with continuous documented service since newThe formula here is the reason E-Series vans refuse to die: a naturally aspirated 4.6L V8, a 4-speed automatic with its own auxiliary cooler, a solid twin I-beam front end, and a 33-gallon tank that keeps a work day between fill-ups. The 8,520-lb GVWR package means it was ordered to carry real payload, and the vinyl floors, cargo lighting, and hinged side doors make the box immediately usable for trades, delivery, or shop duty no upfit required to start working Monday. The history is unusually good for a van this age. Its first owner ran it commercially in New York for over a decade at fewer than 7,000 miles a year, with safety and emissions inspections passed on schedule the entire time, before its second owner brought it home to Illinois. No accidents or damage reported to CARFAX across both owners, no open recalls reported and from April 2025 forward, the maintenance inspections, oil changes, brake work, and checkups all happened here at Buss Ford. We're not guessing what this van is; we've been the ones taking care of it.Work vans with documentation like this get snapped up by the first contractor who does the math. You will not go wrong in choosing Buss Ford, Brandon Wiley and Chris Larson for your next vehicle.
I was able to get my hearts desire in a vehicle. I drove from Louisville Ky to McHenry IL to pick it up. I drove that far because I trusted this company and it’s employees to be honest. The trust I have in this family business comes from watching the way Buss Ford treats it employees and it’s customers like they are part of the Buss family. That is a rare commodity in today’s world.
Brandon Wiley went above and beyond to find me what I wanted and then get it picked up from a dealer in WI. Chris Larson sat with me and taught me how to utilize all the features of my new FORD beauty. He was patient while I asked the same questions until I got it.
I have since driven back to have running boards installed. When I handed them my keys for service, I knew my Explorer was in the best of hands.

Wow! An awesome experience purchasing our Lincoln Aviator with the assistance of Chris Larson. As I explained to my coworker at school, her fear of working with a car salesman depends on who that salesman is. Chris was very professional and has a great personality. He gave us the time and attention we needed, thorough details, and follow-up contact. Communication is key. If you want the best salesman then I suggest contacting Chris at Buss Ford and Lincoln. He is very busy (because he is so great in his profession) so I do recommend an appointment. He makes time for everyone. We visited six dealerships and we felt very comfortable at Buss' dealership. They have been in business for 90 years. I rely on reviews and hope this one gives you confidence to visit them.
