2018 Ford Transit 250 Van Low Roof 60/40 Pass. 130 WB

First of all, let me start by apologizing to Sammy personally and to Ozzie at Grand Lux Auto. I first spoke to Ozzie, when I stumbled across Grand Lux Auto’s Web page. I was in the market for a Ford Transit Connect high top van, a friend of mine had a similar type van that he bought from the Chicago area. My friend purchased his van strictly online and had it delivered to his home in Missouri. Now mind you, I am a retired law enforcement officer from Missouri and a 21 year military veteran, so with that background, honestly I was a little skeptical about purchasing a vehicle the same way my friend did. I’m more of a hands on type of purchaser, I want to put hands on and test drive whatever I’m buying. I first spoke to Ozzie on the phone about the 2013 Ford Transit Connect High Top with 120,000 miles on it that I found on their web page. I told Ozzie I would arrange a date to drive up to Chicago and check out the van. On November 24, 2023, in the early morning hours, I left my Missouri home and drove 5 hours (338 miles) to Northwest Chicago area not knowing really what to expect, I found Grand Lux Auto. I told Ozzie what I would be driving and needless to say when I pulled on the lot Ozzie recognized my vehicle right away, Ozzie showed me the van in question and we took it for a test drive. Ozzie directing me on which street to turn on and telling me to speed up and really get on the gas pedal, once my speed was up to about 45 mph, he wanted me to apply the brakes hard, checking for any wobbling in the front end of the van. The Van drove great and I was really satisfied with the Van and the professional attitude of Ozzie and his mechanical knowledge. We returned to Grand Lux Auto where he introduced me to Sammy. Sammy treated me like I was member of his own family, very professional and knowledgeable about the transaction, Sammy was clean cut and well mannered. I wrote a check for the full amount including delivery. I returned home and waited for my delivery, While waiting for my van, I had a family emergency and had mentioned it during a phone conversation with Sammy. What impressed me most about Grand Lux Auto and Sammy was when he called me to let me know my check had cleared and the van would be arriving soon, the first words out of his mouth, were HOW IS YOUR DAUGHTER? The sound of his compassionate voice and professionalism set me at ease. My van was delivered as promised, and my wife and I couldn’t be more pleased, again I give a special shout out thank you to both Sammy and Ozzie. PS sorry it took so long to write this review, I would not hesitate again to purchase an automobile from GRAND LUX AUTO or to recommend them to anyone. I’m sure there are a few typos in my review, but what do you expect when writing this between 4 and 5 this morning February 28, 2024.

Sam was so enjoyable to work with. And his cars are priced really reasonably. We love our new used car, and we got a great deal. Sam followed up the next day to make sure we were happy. I would 100% recommend this small car dealership.
