ASK FOR JACK!!!! This was my first time not buying private party, and DFS absolutely crushed my expectations. I bought a 2018 Tesla Model 3 Performance w/ FSD from out of state, sight unseen, with Jack, and he killed it. I got a 100% honest representation of the car, the price was incredible, and Jack went though the trouble of working directly with Tesla for over a week to get a new computer retrofit done before I purchased the car. To top it off, they even shipped it to me within 2 days of closing the deal (all the way to Chicago). I also go through everything with a fine tooth comb, and Jack was right with me every step of the way to answer any questions I had about the vehicle. Thank you Jack, and DFS Auto Group, I am truly impressed, and when I’m in the market again I’ll be sure to check your inventory first. Cannot recommend this place enough!

TL;DR: Good service, but don't trust. Get a third party inspection Good experience, but not perfect. Recently purchased a 2006 Subaru Baja (~210k miles) and had it shipped to Upstate NY. DFS was gracious to extend the hold while I sorted out the finances and could complete the payment. Ricardo kept up effective communication throughout. The remote online appointment was innovative and accurately showed the vehicle's cosmetic condition. Once payment was made, they arranged shipping without effort on my part. The shipping to NYS exceeded my expectations in speed. That said, I can't say I'd trust whoever DFS is using for a mechanic. DFS was truthful that the Baja would pass a VA inspection; it won't pass a NY inspection, however. It's throwing three codes (all for sensors: neutral safety switch; intake air temp; O2 sensor's heating circuit). DFS may not have been aware of the codes being thrown, as the CEL light does not illuminate. I suspect the bulb is either blown or missing. If DFS didn't try pulling the codes themselves, they would not have known. NYS will not pass the inspection with the CEL illuminated; Virginia will. There's a fair amount of oil pooling on the top of the block, both sides, underneath the intake manifold. Might be coming from a cracked oil pressure sensors (common); might be headgaskets (common failure, but they normally leak oil from the bottom, not the top). Detecting that via a virtual inspection would be nigh impossible. I had not asked DFS to perform a third party inspection; they may or many not have been willing to do so. All of these issues should have been picked up during said third party inspection. The issues are also not outside what I'd expect from a high mileage Subaru. All that said... I wanted a chassis with a minimal of rust, and that's what I received. DFS delivered, so four stars it is. I'm lucky enough to have a mechanically sound but significantly rusty parts car handy to swap bits over from, and the knowledge to do so myself. If someone is not in the same position as myself, I'd strongly recommend getting that third party inspection done prior to buying a similar high mileage vehicle (from anywhere, not just DFS). P.S.: The included Starbucks gift card was a nice touch. Thank you!

I had an excellent experience at DFS auto! Their staff members Nick Turner and Ricardo Allen treated me with respect, didn’t haggle me on the price, and sold me a quality vehicle that met my needs. I purchased my Honda civic from them in October and have had no problems with it whatsoever…it rides great! Thanks DFS auto for a no-hassle car buying experience!
