I had the pleasure of working with Matt Cross. He took the time to show the vehicle’s features. When it was time to complete the paperwork, he made sure my husband, who is military, was registered so we could take advantage of the military discount. He also worked with me to find the best financing rates. I provided him with a quote from my bank and told him if he can find a better rate, I would finance through them. Sure enough, they were able to secure a rate that was nearly 1% less than my bank. I was walked through the added packages to protect the interior of the vehicle and was explained the benefits of adding the extended warranty, which I purchased. When the My Buick app was not showing the vehicle after all the paperwork was signed, Matt sat with me while OnStar trouble shot the issue. Before I left, he walked me through each vehicle preference setting. He followed up on Monday 7/1/24 to make sure I was still enjoying the vehicle and helped set up a day and time to bring it back to the dealership to have the front windows tinted. Not once did I feel pressured. Matt was very professional and very easy to talk to. I felt my questions were answered and my needs met.
What a difference a good dealership can make!! After a thoroughly revolting experience with Cable Dahmer GMC in Independence I'd all but decided looking for a heavier duty truck to pull my 5th wheel camper just wasn't in the cards this year. A few weeks later wy wife convinced me to at least drive over to Dave Cross GMC and see if they were any different. From the moment our salesman, Kynan, politely approached us on the lot to the moment we drove away in my new truck later that afternoon, our buying experience was the polar opposite of Cable Dahmer's. Kynan listened as I laid out what I needed for trade-in for my current truck and terms I needed to stay within. Throughout the entire process there were no surprises, no pressure tactics, no gimmicks, no upsell. Options were explained for what they were with no hype. Where we had differences we had an open and honest good faith negotiation. Their finance manager shopped interest rates and found us one that was acceptable, still higher than we would have liked but we knew interest rates had risen significantly since our last new car purchase 2 years ago. On a whim he checked interest rates at a local credit union we've used in the past - shockingly he found a rate 2 full points below anything else we'd seen recently. All in all, the folks at Dave Cross Buick, GMC made this one of the best buying experiences we've ever had. Nice job folks - you've earned yourself a long term customer in the Paxsons!
Ask for Adrian! I’m sure everyone is great but I know for sure Adrian is. I let him know a few things I was interested in, and he found me the perfect car. He was honest with me when I was glancing above my price range and kept me level headed, which I very much appreciate and need when I’m car searching. I’ve been looking for over a year and found a car the same day at Dave Cross. Also, the front desk lady was fabulous. :)
