2019 Chevrolet Traverse AWD 1LT

I'm not particularly fond of the car buying experience. Having lived in the Sioux Falls area for many years, there aren't a lot of options. Typically you end up with the high volume dealer in the area, which likely contributes significantly to my distaste in the process. I decided a couple years ago to give Vern Eide a try. And while it took a little more time to find the vehicle I wanted and it added a bit of drive time. The experience was well worth it. I actually felt like a customer, someone that they wanted to not only do business with for that specific vehicle transaction but to keep me coming back for many years. I didn't find the egregious tactics of adding blinking lights or other unnecessary components with ridiculous markup, pretty straightforward pricing, room to negotiate and follow-up support, making sure that I've been happy with both vehicles. Next time you're looking for a vehicle if you haven't considered Vern Eide you should absolutely give them a try. I'm a GMC guy so if you end up at that store you can always ask for Drew ?

It is my absolute pleasure to write this five star review to Vern Eide Chevrolet GMC dealership! A few weeks ago me and my family were traveling from Wyoming to the East Coast and unfortunately encountered a major problem with our DEF system that resulted in us being stranded in Mitchell SD, on a Friday at 4:30 in the afternoon. It wasn't clear what exactly the problem was, or if the dealership could even get the part in time, as we needed to be to our destination by a certain date that was quickly approaching. My wife and I were pretty stressed as we realized we were completely stuck at this point, and we had our baby and our great dane with us as well - without knowing where we were going to stay for the night or when we would be able to continue our travels. Kelsey at this dealership was incredible and took the matter into her own hands despite the fact that it was Friday evening and they were closing down the dealership - she even stayed after hours just to help us figure things out for the night. She said "we are all like family here! We're not just going to let you go without doing everything we can do to help you". Although they unfortunately had no courtesy vehicles available, Kelsey found a solution for a vehicle we can use until the car could be repaired, and Kardel the mechanic already found the necessary part needed and ordered it, and even came in on his day off over the weekend to help us. Since this was the weekend, unfortunately the part wouldn't be there on time and we ended up staying in town until Monday. Early on Monday morning Kelsey sent someone to pick up the part ASAP, and a couple of hours later we were ready to be back on the road. I must say that the experience with this dealership was exceptional and they absolutely tried to do everything in their power to help us. They treat their customers with a lot of respect and professionalism, and always go the extra mile. I would definitely recommend their services. A big thank you to Kelsey, Kardel and Mike - and of course the entire team at Vern Eide Chevrolet GMC.

This was my second vehicle purchase with Vern Eide GMC, and once again, I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The staff truly make the process of buying a vehicle enjoyable. Drew Kitchens went above and beyond both times, working hard to find the perfect fit for me. What I appreciated most is that both purchases were straightforward—no haggling over price or trade-in value. They listened carefully to my needs and made sure I drove away in a beautiful new vehicle. Vern Eide GMC has definitely become my go-to dealership.
