2023 Dodge Challenger SXT Auto AWD

I took my Nissan Leaf in for a recall update. It was easy to schedule and the service was completed in about 2 1/2 hours. I thought it was great that they had a text update schedule when I was waiting in the waiting area for my vehicle. It was just a little irritating that someone didn't come out to the waiting area to inform me that my car was ready or that other services were recommended. They depended on the text update system to communicate with me. Normally, I would prefer that method, but since I was in the building waiting for my vehicle I would have preferred the faster in person method of communication. I was quoted $787.79 to replace an in-cabin filter ($129.95), balance and rotate tires ($99.95), brake fluid exchange ($222.98), coolant exchange ($289.95) with $28.74 in shop fees and $16.22 in taxes. I was ready to just have the service completed, but when I told my husband the price, he said that was way too high. He ended up taking our vehicle to another Nissan dealership to complete the work for about half the price. They charged $79.95 for balance and rotate tires, $161.99 for brake fluid exchange, $186.98 for coolant exchange, and $89.90 for an in-cabin filter with a 25% off coupon the total came to $424.07 after shop fees and taxes. Just a little over half of what Planet Nissan quoted us for the work. All of the staff at Planet Nissan were very friendly and helpful, but their service pricing is way to high.

Had a phenomenal experience today at Planet Nissan. Went just to look at Nissan Rogues not really looking to bite the bullet and get one. As soon as we pulled up we were greeted by Christian. He was very nice, super professional and very knowledgeable on the vehicles. Ended up test driving a 2021 Nissan Rogue and fell in love! I ended up trading my Subaru Outback for the Rogue. Christian made the whole experience nice and easy, also he was very communicative on what was going on while we were waiting, and wasn’t pushy at all. Will definitely be coming back to purchase another vehicle (hopefully with Christian again) in the future!
