Dealer's notes

2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170This 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 is #698 of approximately 3,300 examples built for the model year. It is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi High-Output V8 producing up to 1,025 horsepower and 945 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels via an eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The 6.2-liter Hemi High-Output V8 is equipped with a 3.0-liter supercharger featuring a 3.02 pulley and a 105mm throttle body, in addition to revised fueling system components, Nitride-coated intake valves, copper-lead bearings, and upgraded cylinder head studs, compared to the previous Demon model. The horsepower rating adjusts automatically based on the ethanol content of the fuel, and output ranges from 900 horsepower and 810 lb-ft of torque with conventional E10 fuel to 1,025 horsepower and 945 lb-ft of torque with E85. The engine is also equipped with an SRT Power Chiller, which uses the air-conditioning refrigerant to cool the air entering the intake ports. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission and a 3.09:1 limited-slip differential with a strengthened housing and a 240mm ring gear. The Demon 170 also features an improved rear prop shaft and 43-spline rear half shafts.Dodge released seven different Last Call special editions for the 2023 model year to celebrate the end of production of the Charger and Challenger, and the Demon 170 was the final special edition variant. This example is finished in Destroyer Gray and has an Air-Grabber hood with Alcohol Injected lettering on the hood-scoop bezel. Other exterior details include a front splitter that has retained its yellow scuff guards, Air-Catcher HID headlights, flared rear quarter panels, dual exhaust outlets, and an SRT Performance rear spoiler with an integrated rearview camera. Black 18 front and 17 rear forged aluminum wheels are mounted with Mickey Thompson tires. Stopping power is provided by black four-piston Brembo calipers with yellow SRT lettering over ventilated discs. The Demon 170 is equipped with an edition-specific Drag Mode suspension with adaptive-damping shocks, launch control, a line lock, and a revised trans brake. The heated and ventilated seats are upholstered in Demonic Red Laguna leather. Demonic Red seat belts were factory options, and carbon-fiber trim accents the dashboard and center console. Shift paddles are affixed to the rear of the Alcantara-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, which frames a red 220-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and a 7 configurable digital display. The optional Premium Group adds a suede headliner, a premium-stitched dash panel, a blind spot monitoring system, rear cross-path detection, and an 18-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with a trunk-mounted subwoofer. Other amenities include remote start, dual-zone climate control, and UConnect infotainment with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capability. Demon 170 models left the factory with less sound-deadening material than the standard Challenger. A plaque below the passenger air vent identifies this Demon 170 as #698. A Last Call plaque is affixed under the hood near the driver-side headlight. The original window sticker, the owner's manual, accessories, and two red keys are included in the sale. If you are looking to own a piece of automobile history, look no further. Demon 170 is a piece of history.
