As part of the brand's historic Last Call series marking the end of HEMI-powered Challenger production, the Demon 170 stands as the final and most extreme factory-built performance car ever offered by Dodge. Building upon the already ferocious Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody platform, Dodge engineers pushed the limits of street-legal performance, creating a factory drag racing monster capable of record-setting acceleration while remaining fully road legal. At the heart of the Demon 170 lies a specially fortified supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI High-Output V8, engineered to take advantage of E85 ethanol fuel. When fueled with E85, the Demon 170 produces an astonishing 1,025 horsepower and 945 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful production muscle car ever built. Power is delivered through the robust TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission, optimized with a transbrake, line lock, and advanced launch control technology designed to deliver explosive drag strip performance. Dodge claimed a 0 60 mph time of just 1.66 seconds and a quarter-mile capability of 8.91 seconds at 151 mph, numbers so quick the NHRA requires a parachute and cage for sanctioned competition. Beyond the raw power, the Demon 170 incorporates numerous drag-focused upgrades including strengthened driveline components, revised suspension geometry, massive Mickey Thompson drag radials, and a unique flex-fuel system that automatically adjusts engine calibration depending on the ethanol content. Every example features Demon-specific badging, lightweight components, and distinctive graphics that identify it as the ultimate send-off to the Challenger lineage. The exceptional example offered here is finished in the vibrant Go Mango exterior, paired with the Black Demon 170 cloth interior, a combination that highlights the car's purposeful, track-ready character. It began life as a Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody before receiving the full complement of Demon 170 factory equipment, including the Full Cloth Interior Package with Demon 170 embroidered seat upholstery, Demonic Red seatbelts, Trunk Dress Kit, TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission, and the striking 170 Satin Black hood, roof, and decklid graphics package. This Challenger was sold new by Roanoke Motor Company of Roanoke, Illinois to its only owner and subsequently transported to Texas, where it has been carefully stored and preserved since delivery. Today it shows a mere 95 original miles, essentially remaining in showroom-fresh condition. Production of the Demon 170 was strictly limited to 3,000 units for the U.S. market, making it one of the rarest modern Mopar performance machines. Of those, only 257 examples were finished in the special-order Go Mango paint, and even fewer were specified with the soft Demon 170 embroidered cloth seat upholstery, further enhancing this car's exclusivity. Accompanying the vehicle are both original key fobs, the factory window sticker, and a clean Carfax report, documenting its single-owner history and careful preservation. With its record-breaking performance, limited production, and status as the final and most powerful HEMI Challenger ever built, the 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 stands as a landmark in American muscle car history an uncompromising farewell to Dodge's supercharged V8 era and a centerpiece for any serious modern performance collection.

Just purchased my 1988 EXcalibur Roadster from this establishment - dealing with Jon Faust - General manager. If half the car salesmen in the world were half as straight, professional, cooperative and super nice as Jon, People in this trade would not have the low reputation they have. Jon is one of the best people I ever dealt with in any transaction - personal or business. As to the St. Louis Car Museum, I can only say that anyone who loves nice, classic cars, will find this place to be the nicest toy store they have ever been to. I flew there to see the car before buying it and enjoyed spending time just looking at the "toys" in the showroom. Bottom line - if you are looking for a special car - that's the place, and that's your man.
