My wife and I live in Athens AL, and have been looking for a car for about a month. We have owned an Altima previously that we enjoyed, and we really liked the new Altima design and features so we had primarily been looking at them. We found exactly which car we wanted, (Grey Sky Pearl Nissan Altima SR) and looked online at every Nissan dealership in the 200 mile radius. Newton Nissan had the best price out of everyone, along with the most stock of the car we wanted. The online reviews for Newton were also outstanding so we decided to give them a call. On a Saturday I gave Newton a call and spoke with Joel Marks. I told him which car I wanted, and asked if they had a few in stock, and if we could get the price listed online with no tricks on the final paperwork. He put me on hold briefly and came back stating that he had 4 Grey Sky Pearl Nissan Altima SR's and that we could get the car at the price listed online. I told Joel we lived 81 miles away so we would have to come in on Monday morning. That same day i drove to a dealership that is not far from Athens just to see if they could get to the same price as Newton Nissan. They only had one Altima SR in the color we wanted, it was listed $3,000 above Newtons price. We told the salesperson the price difference, and told him we would buy the car if he could match the price. He acted shocked at the price, and wanted to see the door sticker because he was sure it didn't have the same package as his car (12" screen, Heated leather seats, premium sound etc..) when he saw it was the exact same car he said he wasn't sure how the got the car to that price. So I gave him my number and told him to give me a call if he could get it close to that and I left. I never heard from him. Monday we drove to Newton, and Joel had the car ready and waiting for us. We took it for a quick test drive, my wife found a small flaw in the ceiling fabric ( I couldn't even see it but she's got eagle eyes and is very OCD) , so Joel got one of the other Grey Sky pearl Altima's and let us look it over and everything was perfect. We went to his desk, filled out the credit report, and before long we were ready to finalize everything. It was definitely the best experience I've had buying a car. They had the best price in a 200 mile radius (at least) , they have more cars in their inventory, (they had 4 of the exact color, model, and package that we wanted on the lot) and they sold me the car at that price with no BS. In the past It's taken at least half a day if not the whole day to purchase a car, and this time we were at the dealership maybe 3 hrs. Everyone I encountered was extremely nice, and made us feel at home, the price was exactly what I was told, and the buying process was as painless as it can get. I will buy my next car here as well.
This was the first time I’ve ever bought from a licensed dealer and I’d say I had a good experience. My salesman was very friendly and respectful. They were very helpful in helping me get my monthly payments to meet my budget with the exact car i wanted. I’d recommend this dealer to anyone elated a good deal or if your just needing a new ride.
Great experience all around! The salesperson we had, Cade, was about the coolest guy ever! The facility is wonderful, I had some hot cocoa and fruit snacks during our short wait ???? Truly got a great deal and not bunch of wonky nonsense. Will for sure come back and send others!
