5 stars for their sales team! This is the third car my family has bought from them over the years. Their sales team has always been kind, respectful, informative, and laid back. We didn't expect to end up with another Honda. We visited several dealerships. I was surprised that we had such a hard time finding anything. Between inventory issues (state of the industry right now) and rude, pushy, or downright mean employees, I was pretty discouraged. I've worked in the industry, I can empathize with the conditions and I really do try to assume positive intentions. It was still shocking how bad some of the experiences around town were. We went to Honda early in the process but decided to look around a bit. During our first visit, the sales guy, Josh, was knowledgeable and easy to talk to. One of their managers, Billy, has given me his number and made it really easy for me to reach back out. Well, by the time we decided Honda was the right choice, they didn't have anything left on the lot that fit our requirements ??????? My fault, that's what happens when you take time to shop around! BUT -- to say Billy Day went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us would be an understatement. On his day off, while he was on the road, he helped me secure a beautiful CR-V (all via text!). He and his team got it over from K Falls and ready for me practically overnight. We'd agreed on a price and the paperwork was simple. Marci in Finance (who we've worked with three times now) was wonderful, super knowledgeable and helpful. She's very clear about the value of certain add-on options, but I never felt pressured or spoken down to. F&I can be the hard part of buying but she makes it easy every time. This is probably the longest review I will ever write, especially for a dealership. I was so stressed out those few days and my other experiences were so negative. My latest experience with Honda would have stood out no matter what, but it was even more impactful given my situation. All that to say, big thanks to Billy, Josh, Marci and Medford Honda!
Car shopping was brought on unexpectedly due to an accident. The news of my car being totaled was unsettling, the need for new transportation important, and with it being a very rainy weekend, my son offered to go car shopping with me. Enter Billy Day. We got there early and Billy met us at the showroom entrance. He listened to my story and he told us about Honda options, performance differences in models and safety features. There was no pressure to sell me anything. Billy was patient, informative and spot on with my purchase. The test drive went well and he was able to show me how the features worked that were important to me. And, a few other features I did not know I wanted. I love my Honda CRV-XL and could not praise Billy Day more for his professionalism, his listening skills, and is ability to pull it all together without me feeling lost or intimidated. Marcy Corona, finance manager had all the paperwork ready for me and made sure my questions were answered. My car shopping anxiety went away the minute. Billy Day approached us. Thank you for a great experience and thank you for helping me find “my” car.
Our recent visit to Honda Lithia was characterized by both positives and negatives. Most staff had genuine and warm demeanor which was a pleasant surprise, dispelling any skepticism usually associated with car salesmen. However, our experience during the paperwork process was disappointing. Her lack of enthusiasm and professional decorum detracted from the overall experience. Despite this, we were greeted warmly upon arrival and made comfortable, with our questions addressed promptly. The negotiation process was successful, leading to a satisfying purchase. Furthermore, the acknowledgment of our loyalty as repeat buyers by the sales manager was a nice touch. We're open to returning as customers, but we may explore other branches or dealerships outside of our area to ensure a smoother experience in the future.
