Mr. Jimmy Sergeant was honest and cheerful! He quoted me a cash price over the phone and kept his word. He even agreed to allow the negotiated payment be made via credit card at his expense. Not only was the car in better condition than I gathered, based on Carfax records, Jimmy informed me of a standard limited guarantee Stonegate Auto gives if something should go wrong with the vehicle in a short period of time. He sincerely expressed the importance of maintaining their solid reputation. I felt that! By the way, the car is doing great and I'm completely satisfied. Stonegate Auto Sales is an outstanding car lot and Jimmy Sergeant is an extraordinary human being. I'd recommend them, wholeheartedly, to anyone. Update #4: It is June 2024. Car is STILL doing well. Nothing is wrong with this car. Everything works! This is a used car. One should expect expenses not associated with a brand new car that has a few miles on it. Even then, car ownership isn't problem free. That's just wishful thinking. Every car needs to be properly maintained. I've booked the car for several movies and TV series where it's been featured on multiple occasions. Some directors appear to like the aesthetics of this compact luxury sedan. Yes. The car is actually creating positive cash flow. It, currently, has 190k+ on the odometer. In the works are plans to upgrade the intake manifold and throttle body giving it old Toyota-like reliability. I did extensive research on this year/model Mercedes C-Class and knew the pros and cons of ownership. Armed with that knowledge, I know I got a generous deal. I've since done a mild restoration on it. Solid vehicle platform. A whole lot of car for the money.
