Our '02 Ford Windstar is a handicap accessible mobility conversion van built by Independent Mobility Systems or IMS. This van has a ten-inch lower floor than a stock Windstar van to allow easy entrance and exit for wheelchair accessibility. She has manual sliding doors and a power upright wheelchair ramp that deploys by pushing a button to operate the ramp. She also has a power drivers swivel transfer seat with a floor mounted EZ Lock wheelchair docking system to allow an easy transfer from your wheelchair or power scooter to the driver's seat. This package is complete with hand controls for the driver to operate the brake and the gas pedals, but those can be removed easily if they aren't needed for your application. This van also has numerous tie down locations throughout the van to safely secure your loved ones during transit and the passenger side front seat will remove very easily if your mobility wants to ride up front during transit.
