Dahl Ford earned my loyalty by doing the right thing when they didn’t have to. They did it by treating me like a person, not a problem. I bought a used F-150 with a newly installed remanufactured engine from a different dealership, a bit of a road trip away. A few months later, I started getting check engine lights for catalytic efficiency. I still had coverage under the federal emissions warranty, so I took it to a local dealership. They told me the catalytic converters weren’t OEM and said the repair wasn’t covered. That didn’t sit right with me, especially since I had documentation showing the cats were OEM - installed as part of the engine work. I brought the truck to Dahl for a second opinion. They ran their tests, followed Ford’s procedures, and when the issue came back, they confirmed what the other shop suspected: the cats were not OEM after all - despite what the paperwork said. But instead of making it my problem, they removed the bad converters, installed the correct ones, and submitted the warranty claim themselves. They dealt with the fallout, not me. That kind of honesty earned my trust, and continues to. They have also taken care of a warped oil pan under warranty and recently did a fuel injector service after clearly explaining what was recommended at my mileage. No pressure. No up-selling. Just information and respect. That’s my truck in the photos, clean, capable, and running smooth because they did right by it and me both. I live out in Vernon County, but I’ll keep making the trip to Dahl, because they’ve earned it. If you’re looking for a service department that’s honest, responsive, and quietly excellent at what they do, this is the place. I have purchased a number of new vehicles from them during that time and have never been disappointed. I had my Maverick in for it's first oil change and the young lady at the desk, Kala, was another example of excellent service that this company provides.
