In July 2024 I was tasked with the challenge of finding a dependable, affordable used car for my son, who had just taken a new job and would be travelling throughout the Great Plains states on a regular basis. At 73 years of age I have bought MANY new and used cars and, I must say, I had no "fond memories" of those buying experiences to draw upon. My first venture out into the shark tank was to Pueblo Ford, a not too painful but, also, not too rewarding experience. Back home I did an online search and came across an interesting offering from a weirdly name car dealer, More-Skinny Used Cars. I had seen this dealership (?) from afar when leaving the Ford dealer, but didn't even bother to stop by this little, funkily named, car lot stuck in an out of the way place, and with only perhaps a dozen cars on the lot. Long story short, I emailed the dealership and the car I was interested in had been sold. But my communication with the 2 brothers who own this place was so pleasant I ended up stopping by, identifying an incoming car not yet on the lot that seemed to meet my criteria, and after a virtually painless process, bought the car. The price negotiation took approximately 37 seconds. After my son picked up the car and drove is to North Dakota and back, he had a couple very minor items the guys addressed immediately. My son is SO happy with his new wheels you would think I had bought him a brand new Maserati...not a 2006 PT Cruiser w/ 67K miles on it! Went in to sell a vehicle under bittersweet circumstances. They made it fast, easy, and fair. Walked out with my vehicle sold. They took care of everything first thing Monday morning (Saturday when I went in) and I was done. Kind, friendly, compassionate and gave me a fair price. Highly recommend!
