Went to Kalispell Ford June 1, 2024 to follow through with a test drive appt we had made the day before. I had no intention of buying the Explorer that we had an appt with, because after having made that appt, I actually found a different vehicle at a different dealership that I was certain I was going to buy. However, we decided to go through with the appointment, and explained to Ryan Maki (our salesman) that we had another appointment elsewhere and needed to leave after the test drive to go to that. Ryan was pleasant, and never tried to disrespect the other dealership or make us feel uncomfortable for our choice to leave. We left with Ryan’s business card, and went to the other dealership. After test driving the other vehicle, we turned around and went straight back to Kalispell Ford and bought the Ford Explorer that Ryan showed us. Besides the vehicle being amazing, Ryan was so personable and friendly. He took the time to explain the process, and was genuinely interested in the conversations that took place during the process. Jordan in the accessories department was great to work with, excellent communication, A++ customer service. I had them order Katzkin leather heated seats for my bronco and unfortunately Katzkin applied the wrong stitch color on part of the seat, no fault to the dealership and did not want to work the the dealership to correct. Jordan gave me two good options 1) reorder with a price accommodation for the delay or 2) have the seats installed that are not exactly what we ordered with a generous discount that I was very happy with and accepted. I am very particular and they were understanding and took there time with the job to make sure everything was perfect, kudos to the installer. The service department could learn from Jordan!
