I don't like buying cars and would prefer getting root canals to car shopping. Village Motors was a completely different experience for me. The experience was my best ever car buying experience. Upon my arrival, I found the vehicle I was interested in and was greeted by Chris, the salesperson, while looking at the Jeep I liked. I was offered a test drive which I accepted. Chris photocopied my driver's license and sent me on my way for a test drive of about half an hour covering several miles. When I returned, Chris and I sat down to do business. I had noticed Village Motors prepares their used car inventory for new owners before they park them on the sales lots. Chris explained pricing was fair based on their prep and the market. I agreed. There was no pressure nor costly upsells. And Chris brought up a part that had been ordered to be installed on my Jeep once it came in. That was done within a few days. When I returned to have the part installed I was enthusiastically greeted and made comfortable for a few minutes wait. Everyone here is very pleasant to deal with which I find refreshing. I am happy to enthusiastically recommend Village Motors to anyone looking for a quality used car, fairly priced and prepped for the new owner. I have bought a lot of used vehicles over the years and all of them I went into the transaction knowing they were going to be shady in some way. Somehow they were going to leave something out or make me feel obligated to buy from them. Right of the bat Chris Payeur was personable and up front about how important it was to the company it's values and their upmost loyalty to their customers. He made me feel at ease about the investment I was about to make, and ensured me that they (Village Motors) would take care of me as best and as fairly as they could. He was very clear and transparent with everything. Answering all my questions and made me feel that the ball was in MY court. On purchase day, the truck was very very clean to begin with but was detailed again, brand new inspection sticker, and filled up with fuel for me to enjoy the ride home. Honestly that day was sadly the cleanest it'll ever be is how perfect it was lol. Fast forward to the post purchase point of my awesome truck, but within the dealership warranty, an issue did arise. The issue was within the exhaust system which was unavoidable or could not be foreseen during their inspections was an O2 sensor had gone bad and had tripped the check engine light. One call to Village and we set up a time for the repair to be performed. Village not only replaced it for free, they provided me with a free rental so I didn't have to lose any time from work. Bonus: They also replaced a 3rd break light that had a small crack in the lense that neither of us had caught or noticed before I bought the vehicle for free!!! You don't find that kind of service ANYMORE ANYWHERE. Unbelievable customer service! Hands down the best I've ever been involved with for any transaction..... Thanks Village Motors for the care you take in providing good quality pre-owned vehicles for people who need reliable and safe transportation. Down to the guys detailing to the guys turning the wrenches, to the wonderful lady at the front desk coordinating all the incoming/outgoing traffic who has a great sense of humor!
