Hector is a man of his word! My wife and I shopped a 2019 Traverse last month. The day after we picked it up, engine light came on, catalytic converter was bad. I had an excellent car shopping experience with Hector. I showed up with interest in a certain vehicle and he was upfront and honest about the work he had completed as well as the issues the vehicle had prior to his renovations. He was also very forthcoming about the current state of the vehicle including the title status. He certainly was not trying to pull the wool over my eyes just to ensure I bought a car. The restoration quality I observed in the two vehicles I ended up test driving was great. Hector and Benbrook Motors demonstrated great skill in the repair work they completed. I would have loved to walk away with the car I came to look at. Ultimately we were unable to reach a sweet spot on the price where everyone was satisfied with the deal, but even then Hector was straightforward about his reasons for needing to sell at a certain price. Even after we couldn’t reach an agreement on a deal where the dollars worked for everyone, Hector was willing to spend extra time talking with me about what to look out for as I’m trying to find a good deal on bargain salvage cars.
