1/15/2024 Update: THIS CAR SAVED MY AND MY SON'S LIVES! Four days ago, I was in the first car accident of my life. I was driving my 2023 Infiniti QX80 Sensory on rural roads with my 13-year-old son in the front seat on our way to his middle school basketball game, and we ended up in a HEAD-ON collision at a funky intersection with a new Ford F-150 pickup truck that was travelling at roughly 45-50 mph. (meeting my approximately 25 mph. as I merged into his lane). The hit was HARD, and the QX80's air bags deployed virtually simultaneously. My vehicle ricocheted a good 130 feet back before coming to a stop. Miraculously, my son and I were able to immediately exit the car. My chest hurt from the impact of the air bag - and my neck is now a bit sore - and my son received an abrasion like a floor-burn on his shin from the air bag, BUT THAT WAS IT! NO other injuries! The other driver was also able to immediately exit his vehicle without a visible scratch. My husband later told me that the gentleman had told him that he was afraid to approach my vehicle after the crash - afraid of what he might find. THAT'S how bad it looked. While I can say that it feels like a miracle that no one was seriously hurt, I am 100% positive that had I been in a lesser vehicle, that would not have been the case. The Infiniti QX80 Sensory's quality construction, front end, frame, windshield, technology, airbags, seat belts, etc. all did their job to protect me and my son. The vehicle's Automatic Collision Notification system even called emergency services before anyone else did. I won't know until sometime this week if the vehicle will be technically totaled, but that is what my husband is anticipating. If so, I'm really hoping that we can swing it financially without a trade-in and with Infiniti's offers to get back into another QX80 Sensory. Yes, the vehicle is an extremely expensive automobile purchase compared to most other SUVs on the market, but this crash proved to me, by saving me and my son from harm, that the QX80 is worth intangibly more than the sum of its materials. Thank you, INFINITI! Original Review: Our sales representative, Sandro Mora, was wonderful! He immediately put us at ease and did NOT at all give off that stereotypical "slick car salesman" vibe. Lol. He was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and efficient with the purchasing process. I would definitely recommend friends to ask for him personally should they be in the market for an Infiniti. The dealership itself oozed with class, sophistication, and excellence. It was sparklingly clean, had comfortable furniture, and its complimentary waiting area amenities were generous. (I loved the fresh ground espresso!) This Infiniti QX80 Sensory AWD is my dream car and the most expensive thing - beside our home - that we have ever purchased, but we can already tell that we are getting what we paid for. Although I absolutely loved driving my 2016 Ford Explorer Platinum (turbo!) that we traded in, every time I had to take it in for servicing at the dealership, I was invariably told that it might take over night or a couple of days to be completed, and I was ALWAYS told, "I can't guarantee." I can't imagine Infiniti telling me that! Also, the Ford dealership could give me a ride home, but they could NEVER provide me with a loaner car in the interim. What mom and business owner can go without a car for a day, let alone multiple ones? So I was floored when Sandro told me that when my QX80 needs servicing, that Louisville Infiniti will drive the almost hour to my home in Bardstown, leave me with a nice loaner car to use, take my car back to the dealership to be serviced, and then return the car to me back at my home! A friend of mine who has an Infiniti too said that she was even picked up and given a ride to the airport once! THAT'S excellent customer service! And while I'm not anticipating my vehicle needing much for service and certainly not any time soon, I am confident that the process will be an almost enjoyable one.
Service department is awesome. Miguel was great, he kept me informed from scheduling the appointment to pickup. Got in and out very quickly. Courtesy car was really nice too. Thanks for the great service!
