BOB made this the most pleasant care buying experience I have ever had. I contacted him after a friend gave me his number with a straightforward ( yet very particular ) insight to what I was looking for. He was not too pushy and just involved enough for me to know he was working for ME. I had been to another dealership in the area and I felt I had 'pick of the patch' and absolutely do not regret making my final decision with him. Aside from the fact the Lynn Layton did not charge me a doc fee ( roughly $900 in savings) I felt Bob was the most knowledgeable out of the sales associates I delt with. I found peace that working with him was like having someone help me as if i were their own child or family member. (Even at 32, I appreciated this comfort.) I have 3 children upcoming driving age in the next 2-10 years and when the time comes, Lynn Layton will be my first choice to look and I hope Bob be there to service us. Maybe he is just a good sales man, but feeling " at home" and "top priority" were important to me in this transaction. Upon arriving at the Lynn Layton dealership we were approached by Ron Hardin who asked how he could help. Ron was extremely knowledgeable of the vehicles and the processes. He was respectful of our time and was dogged in helping us find the exact Chevy Trax we wanted. During the process of vehicle shopping, we visited several dealerships. My experience with the dealership was exceptional, everyone was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and no pressure to purchase add-ons. Most people dread the amount of time spent at a dealership however mine was quick and yet provided an opportunity to get familiar with the dealership. Although I live in Huntsville where there is a Chevrolet dealership I opted to drive to Decatur as Lynn Layton has a very good reputation and now I see why.

I am in the middle of a two-part service experience, the regular maintenance for the vehicle, and a bulletin for a warranty body correction. I have a repair date of 5/13 for the body shop. I am glad to have George to coordinate and explain the "moving parts" to complete the repairs. Can't judge the quality of the work until it is done, but I expect the best. Now that I am dealing with George, my one previous bad experience seems to be in the distant past.
