I got the car of my dreams from Oak Lawn VW. The 2024 VW Golf R manual transmission is really hard to find. Oak Lawn had one on the floor and were straight forward on the price. Other dealerships that had cars inbound wouldn't provide pricing or played games with holding cars until they were not held. Jeremiah Jones was honest with me and followed through on promises. They were looking for a serious buyer and I was looking for a dealership that wasn't going to make false promises. The dealer wouldn't unlock or drive the car at all knowing the type of person that would want this car. Was Jerry and Oak Lawn tough negotiators? Sure. This was an opportunity I knew I had to grab. VW of Oak Lawn worked in good faith and didn't try to sell the car out from under me even though I needed a few days to make the 4 hour drive. Jerry was very friendly and his sales manager Tim followed up with their promises knowing I couldn't come back again. They managed to get all of the prep and requests from me done even though their service dept was slammed. When buying a car you need to know what to expect or what options you have through the dealership or on your own. VW of Oak Lawn was straight and professional and I knew what to expect. You'll be very happy if you get Jerry as your sales person!
